Btw Warriors have a real chance at landing PG if they want to

if they can send Iggy & Livingston and a couple of picks it'll match up for just enough for them to have PG for the year

Honestly I want it to happen

I want this league completely fucked

Iggy and Livingston are free agents, the Warriors would have to sign them to market value deals and then trade them in December. It's also not a great trade for either team, the Warriors kill their depth and the Pacers get two older role players.

They can definitely do better than Love.

Porque? It's a rental of Paul George for "just" Kevin Love. Ol Kevin ain't that bad, he just can't do much against Draymond and even less chasing after Durant in transition.

How does Love even help Indy? They wouldn't make the playoffs with him and he's be gone by the time they're relevant again.

We can assume they're dumb, or they get a third team involved who is. They're out there man.

Why would the Pacers do that? Lol

So worst case scenario for the Celtics... Fultz is gone at 1, Jackson goes at 2. Do the Celtics take Tatum? Take Ball? Or trade the pick for a Ball hungry team?

Sounds like they will be taking Tatum unless they trade the pick for Butler or possibly Drummond. This should be an interesting week leading up to draft night.

The more I read about Tatum he sounds like a good dude, but can he score and constantly at the NBA level? Also, can he shoot from outside consistently? Lots of questions there. How did his previous workout with the Celts go?

Trade the pick to the Kings for the 5th and 10th pick and go on from there. After all Danny Ainge really does love his picks.

I know PHX really wants Ball, but who else, I think he would be good for Orlando too. NYK and Sac seem like good fits too

That only makes sense if there's a good draft and stash candidate at 10 or if you can move it for a future pick. Moving from 1 to 3 gave them enough cap room to easily make space for a max contract without having to give up good pieces while still bringing over their two foreign rookies from last year.

You draft best available then get Finnish Larry Bird at 10. Ainge playing chess not checkers.

Yes but this is Danny Ainge we're talking about... If Josh Jackson is gone by the time the 3rd pick comes in I can see him doing this move.

If you believe Stephen A Smith, he said Boston wants to trade #3 for Butler and then sign Hayward. The Celtics want to keep the Lakers/Kings pick.

Also there is a protection on the Kings pick. Sixers protecting Top 1.

That's assuming he even wants Jackson..

I'd rather have this..

lol at depth. Play PG at any point when one of Curry/KD is out, there's is your depth. They can put me as PG for 15mins and if I have KD, PG and 1 of Klay/Green, they would be fine.

Obvs not happening, Iggy is resigning.

It makes sense from a value perspective (Trust The Assets) and I wouldn't hate the move since I don't think the C's need another Jaylen Brown. Just need to find a way to move the #10 pick for future assets.

Ask me about the GAF Notebook
You essentially need to be planning for like 2022. Have LeBron age out of the back end of his prime. Have the Warriors age up to current LeBron aka back end of their prime.

Spurs are a wild card here cause Lenoard is only 25 so he's arguably just aging into his prime. Also the Greek Freak is barely even old enough to drink.

So Warriors just have to maintain. LeBron has to figure out what he wants to do after next year. Spurs and Bucks have arguably the best two young players to build around.

Everyone else needs to figure out where they want to be in 5 years.

Woj says Boston has enough if OKC or NO decide to move on from their franchise players (Westbrook and Davis).

Is OKC ready to start all over again so quickly? Man, that would be amazing to go from KD, Harden, and Westbrook to....nothing in less than 10 years. I thought maybe Griffin would be a likely candidate to go to OKC and would be able to revive them to an extent.

NO is a mess.

Why would the Kings be interested in doing this?

I think OKC would much rather move Russell instead of seeing him walk for nothing like KD. As for the Kings the logic is that there's someone they like that will be gone by the time they pick. Either Jackson, Ball or Fox presumably.

If NO decides to trade Davis, they already have a head start with Cousins being there. They could continue to build with the lottery picks they would get back.

I've been reading there's a protection in the Sac pick if it goes to Boston, maybe it's just for #1 overall. Why must you test my faith like this Danny?

What would you prefer, Westbrook or Butler and Hayward? If the C's trade for Butler they can add a max contract under the cap. Can't with Westbrook.
Butler and Hayward of course. Hell I'd probably prefer one of those two over Westbrook anyway, I'm not crazy high on his game.

Apparently the C's have agreed to sign Daniel Theis, from the Euroleague, until 2019. Fireworks!

I saw that was likely to happen a couple days ago. Supposedly a decent stretch 4 who can rebound.

He looked awesome in the highlights video I watched which is really all that counts.

So many players....

Also, bye Jonas.
