Nice signing for Miami. Wade gets to brag about how much he's raking in but it doesn't kill the cap for next season. He's going to be in for a rude awakening next off season but at least he won't sulk through this one.

It's like, I'm super emotional about this. Like absolutely no one wants to even breathe on this team. Part of me wants to blame Kobe but is it really his fault? Is it his incredible max contract that has people intimidated? Is social media making this bugger than it is? I don't know. Everything just feels so messed up. At this point, maybe the team should just completely be young and refresh from within rather than jumping to grab big contracts. Ugh, at this point I'm trying to find solace in all of this mess.

I don't think so at all. I think he's simply doing his due diligence and wants to listen to all opinions (except for the Knicks cause they're a dumpster fire, lol) before making a major, life-altering decision. It's only the second day of free agency.

Not sure if you're speaking to me directly, but I agree with you. I for one like to see small market teams succeed, and it was really nice to see GS win it all this year. I would be enjoy seeing someone like the Bucks win the titles down the line.

I could see the Heat moving Chalmers and Deng. $4,300,000 Chalmers number is basically going to Wade. So I don't know why people think this is a bad deal. Great deal for Heat.

Obviously Wade isn't worth 20 mill in 2015, but it's only a one year deal and part of that money is for his legacy I'd assume. Riley got Wade a raise without handicapping the franchise long term.

Wade took a pay cut twice to help us out, it's good we paid him back without pulling a Lakers and killing our future. Win-win for both sides.

Wade getting $20 mill in 2015 isn't egregious. Shooting guard in the NBA sucks. He is still a legitimate all-star. The only shooting guards right now better than him are The Beard, Thompson, Jimmy Buckets, and that's it.
