Man, if we seriously sign Rajon, Amare, or trade for Lee, I will consider that a straight up "Fuck it, we're tanking hard" move. Nothing else could explain spending time and money on those bums and passing up on Harris and/or Koufos.

Doc is totally going to sign Perk and play him 30 minutes a game. This is a HUGE loss for the Clips. He anchored that D and helped hide how bad of a defender Blake can be. On offense he wasn't the most versatile guy but he was still an integral part of what they do. Clips go from potential top 3 team in the west and contenders to bottom 6/7/8 seed tier.

Deandre is kinda underrated offensively. Zachary Lowe knows his shit and he put it well "deandre might only do one thing well but he does it far better than anyone else in the league". What he does is incredibly valuable, much like a three point specialist. It's a big part of CP3s game and the Clipps offense. You can't just bring in some stiff like Hibbert or Kanter and expect to pick right back up. It's like losing Kyle Korver and replacing him with Nick Young and being like "we'll be alright"
