Can Tom Tolbert be any more amateur? If you're a paid commentator you better know how to pronounce any first round pick; it doesn't matter if you can make a lame joke out of your stupidity.

If David Stern doesn't need to know how to pronounce these names, there's no reason for Tolbert to learn.

SuperSuhSonics!

David Stern doesn't know the TEAM names, we can get off Tolbert's back for not attempting to butcher a player's name :p

Mark my word. The only time you will ever see a white kid from bakersfield get drafted out of highschool is if he is 7 footer.

The real question is, will he end up playing more minutes in his NBA career or his HS career? Haha.

The Raptors are retarded for not picking Nelson. Hell.....They're retarded for picking this scrub instead of an actual player.

Hmmmmm. They traded a black guy for Giricek last year....I see their masterplan!

Uh.....They have Jarron Collins!

You Win!!
"what do you say about people saying you are going to be a bust"
"well my dad says i am good"

The best part about the expert opinion on the Sonics pick.
"He doesn't leave his feet on the fakes which is unusual for a high school player"
That is because he is a motherfuckin 7 footer! he probably never leaves his feet playing high school D EVAR

Nelson is like AI.....just shorter and without any of the athletic ability. And he's not even a better shooter....shooting over guys who are much taller than you (as he will have to do in the NBA) tends to reduce your FG %.

Undersized SG rarely ever work well in the NBA. AI is the exception simply because he is so incredibly talented and athletic (I once said that if he was 6'6" he'd be as good as Jordan). Jameer Nelson is a totall different story....he's even undersized even for a PG. The protypical "good in college, but doesn't work in the NBA" player.

Great pick by Charlotte; fills their biggest needs.

Dick Vitale clearly stroked out earlier when bitching about the Celtics.

He just said "This isn't the olympics, this is basketball" in the middle of his Nelson rant.

Anybody want to take a shot at what that meant?

If one more high school kid is drafted, Dick Vitale goes foaming mouth-rabid.

This is shaping up to be the best bottom 9 picks of the draft ever.

LMAO!

STFU Vitale. Obviously you are saying this shit, your entire career rests upon the health of college basketball. The players get hurt? No, they get paid, as opposed to being used by the colleges who reap all the benefits for their play. What the NBA needs is a true minor league, not an age limit.

EDIT- A steal by the Jazz. The 20s are always a crapshoot, so if you can have a crapshoot at a 7'6" player you're in good shape.

EDIT2- Nelson to Orlando....that's a good fit.
