Yeah, that's why you hear the crowd yell (or boo) when someone says something they like (or don't like). It's rather annoying.mightynine said:This is one of the most painful drafts I've ever heard. What is up with all the echo? Are they piping the audio over the MSG speakers too? BAD idea.

Excellent point.scola said:The worst thing about putting the ESPN guys over the PA is that the audience doesn't save up all of their vitrolous boos for Stern. I don't want the hate diluted

The stuff about having Allen and West ranked as the second best two guard and point guard in the draft is either some serious after the fact spin or everyone in their scouting department needs to be fired. That's ridiculous.
I like when they cheered when he announced that the deputy comish would run the second round and then ESPN guys laughed.Cloudy said:LMAO, they hate Stern...

Draft a point guard in the first round (Sasha Vujacic?)

A good one on one defender, Vujacic is rather quick in his lateral defensive moves for a player his size. He can be aggressive sometimes in his defensive positioning: moving, faking, using his hands to "attack" his opponent and make him feel uncomfortable. To add to that, he's got decent hands which will get him lots of steals in the league. He plays with passion and aggressiveness. Every time he gets has ball, he looks to do something positive.

His name may not have been weird, but it was certainly foreign to most of the people in MSG. The place fell silent, and ESPN didn't have much to say. He averaged 25 ppg....... in a conference that hasn't ever delivered a first round player to the NBA (well maybe one)etiolate said:Shit. Kevin Martin. I think that pick was just to make up for all the weirdass named players Petrie has taken in the past.
