i like a lot of the new animations added. i was down 2 late against the spurs and tony parker bobbled and lost the ball on a pass. i recovered it and tied the game. the animation looked pretty awesome.

Wow now I finally know what people were bitching about when they talk about the framerate issue. Just played my first D-League game in MyPlayer and the game skips like a bitch.

I'm so sad the PC 2k10 community will be small in comparsion, because all these stupid ass glitches wouldn't be on the PC version, not to mention the graphics are magnitudes better.

This game is trash. Everything is gltiched to the point that its unplayable or not working like every online component. Im not touching this shit again until that patch hits to turn my beta copy of NBA2K10 into something that more closley resembles an actual retail game.

Just keep it in the shrink wrap until we tell you it's safe to open it.

Uncharted2 is next week. Get that to play now and don't worry about NBA for another week.

Sorry to say it, but it's the best advice we can give you.


NBA2k10 should be called AnimationFest2k10. Am I rite? I am amazed at how hard it can be to control your guy in My Player at times because he gets stuck in some animation. It's not as noticeable when I'm playing 5 on 5 games probably because there is no much more going on. But when I push left on my analog stick I expect my player to move left. Is that too much to ask?

ugh the help defense pisses me off so much at times. i'm locked onto a guy and yeah he gets an edge on me but there's no way he's going to get off a clean shot, then my center will rotate over and THEIR guy is wide open for a dunk. it doesn't happen everytime down but it happens enough to be very annoying.

and this is WITH help D turned all the way down and Tight D on every man!

also i had a lot of framterate issues playing in boston. zwtf!

Pheeniks you might luck out as we won't be able to play by the deadline. All this noise about these problems are freaking me out. :lol I only bought this game for the league, so if it doesn't happen it is wasted money!

I haven't touched the game since release date, that's how turned off I am by it right now. I don't plan to play again till the patch is out.

p.s. i'm only being sarcastic because i already saw the lead designer of nba live saying a large patch would be out in a few weeks. this is the ugly side of competition.... both forcing the other to get their game out earlier and they ship an incomplete game.

Major problems here.

You can't do a 360 dunk because no one has a 360 dunk set.
You have to set it as a special dunk. No one has any special dunks set.

Josh Smith has Dwight Howard's dunk package.
Josh Smith can't use his own dunk package or any the reverse,windmill or 360 special dunks unless you change his main position to SF. J.R. Smith has the J.Smith package though JR is a good dunker it appears to be Josh's dunks.

Vince Carter has the Athletic Guard package instead of his own. Also his sig shot is listed as A. Carter but there's no V. Carter.

Nate Robinson has the Rimgrazer package instead of his own.

Kobe can't be given 360 dunks by default.

Melo has the Athletic Guard package and also can't use his own by default. You have to increase his dunk rating from 79 to 85 to be able to give him his dunk package.

Kevin Garnett can't use his own dunk package by default. You have to increase his dunk rating from 63 to 85

Tim Duncan can't use his dunk package by default. Increase his dunk rating from 45 to 85.

Nene doesn't even have ANY dunk package by default. 79 to 85 to enable his.

Shaq of course can't use his increase to 85 from 58.

Amare can't use his,increase rating from 84 to 85.

BTW, I would strongly suggest we get rid of the switch-always rule on defense. They added the "who to guard" feature for a reason!

It's almost impossible to guard the fast PGs who can also shoot if you're manually matching up on every pass (from what I've played so far)

Yeah I've shelved the game until the patch hits. Those programmers better not go home to sleep until they fix my game.

Seriously it's the biggest game release of the year for me every year and it sucks that I can't play it because it's BROKEN!

- My Player Mode Fix
- Working Team up and Crew modes
- Framerate bullshit

Obviously there is a ton of other shit but I WILL be allowed to play the modes that were promised to me dammit. Exhibition matches online and Association are the only modes working well for me right now...that's like 25% of the fuckin game. I'm scared to play My Player b/c of the glitch and the inability to play teamup games with GAF and other people is garbage.

Decisive games and sign-in date has been postponed as well.
Of course we'll give you ample time to practice with your team before league starts.
right now, our league is in limbo until the patch is released.

when asked about the online issues about teamup/crew/pickup games. this is an answer i got from an 2k admin
I'm not having any luck either, but we are totally stumped as to what the problem is. We have the connecting to host issue figured out, but it's the disconnecting we are having trouble with. If you have any other information about things you are noticing when you disconnect, pass it on. We are looking to gather as much information as we can to try and track it down.

I know this isn't a glitch thread, but here is some team up info that guys should know about before heading online. Sorry if any of this stuff has already been posted, but the more poeple that know this stuff the better:

-For ranked team up you can tell when the game will drop when it shows two of the same guy in the pre-game start up screen. If you see two Kobes or two Al Jeffersons, just back out and start over.

-Party Leader (voice chat channel) should not host games. This isn't 2k10 exclusive, but I see this all the time. The game will more than likely fuck up if the host of the party is the host of the game.

-The "Captain's glitch" happens in regular party team up. Basically, when the game starts if you are either of the point guards you will lock the game up if you change your player. You can still select teams for the room by pressing the triggers, but if you try and move to another position the game is over.

btw uncharted 2 is Game of the Generation. all you xbox 360 cocksuckers (which includes the majority of you except for myself) need to pick up a PS3 just for that game.
