What the hell is ECU doing actually competing in CUSA basketball? They sweep UCF for the season 3-0 and now they just knocked off the conference's #1 tournament seed in UAB in the second round of the tournament today.

Ugh, Cal got rolled by USC. Only a couple players showed up to play today - very disappointing. Oh well, maybe they'll get an NIT bid.

I remember a few years ago in law school (where 100% of the students use laptops in class), about 90% of the computer screens in the classroom had an NCAA game on from CBSSports.com.
It was kind of funny. There were always a ton of people on facebook, Perez Hilton, and the like during classes on any particular day, but that first week of March Madness was always crazy. Everybody was watching hoops.

As a native Kansas Citian who didn't go to school at all, I'm rooting for all three of our local teams. Which makes it a bummer that the K-State couldn't pull it together, but what a great KU game. Ugly win, but a win. I'm actually hoping for a Jayhawk/Mizzou border war final on Saturday.
