Nice pick-ups. Did you have to pay much for those games ? Usually when you see games in that good shape you have to pay yourself silly.

edit: Or are the JP releases even that expensive ?

People in Japan take care of their games, so games are like new even on the used market. You can also find older titles easily meaning it won't be that expensive to get a nice looking copy.

Alone in the Dark - Limited Edition. IIRC this game didn`t get much praise but i found it for 12$ so thought wth, i`ll try it.

CoD and CoD: United Offensive. Always been a fan of CoD and been meaning to play the expansions for the first game so picked this up also for 12$

Guitar Hero 3. Already have this but a new supermarket recently opened and they had GH3 for 25$. Thought that an extra guitar might come in handy during parties.

got these over the last couple of weeks

finally found Resistance 2 for 50 dollars (bargain)
and Bionic Commando I got from Play Asia for 30.
Games 101 netted me a 60 dollar Red Faction and
JB hifi gave me Megadrive collection for 35.

all prices are Aussie dollars

Yeah tell me about it. why do they persist with these crap stickers that won't come off? I hate any stickers on my games. and when you pick them off they rip, I'll hit it with some eucalyptus oil, that should fix it.

I thought I would hate this game. I don't typically enjoy horror games
(including RE4)
, and the demo for Dead Space doesn't really help sell the game. But for whatever reason I decided to Gamefly it, and I can't remember the last time I became so smitten with a game. Between the amazing environment, the slick presentation, and the perfect pacing I fell in love. So I ran out and bought it new.

It says it's 10 feet long, which would be way longer than the cable that comes with the PS3

I collect simpsons stuff so I couldn't pass it up:lol

As for the USB cable that comes with the PS3, Its about 5' long. I'm 5'9" and it only goes up to my chin.

After playing Guitar Hero for a bit more than a year now, I finally decided to give the Rock Band series a chance after hearing a lot of good things about it. And wow, it's just awesome! I'm not very good at these games, as GH's Hard mode makes me grit my teeth cuz how unnatural and artificially hard it feels (like, it's made hard just to be hard). Rock Band, on the other hand, feels much more natural, and as a result makes me want to get better.

Loving it so far!

as for Prototype, I've never been very impressed by the game. From the first trailers I felt that Mercer's powers were...weird and dull looking. And I really haven't felt like playing a sandbox game at all this year.
However, after watching OverTheGun play through the first few hours, I just HAD to get it. and my GOD, it's awesome! haven't had this much fun with a sandbox game since Spiderman 2.

haven't played a lot of Shatter yet, but it seems quite neat. pretty anyway.

Seriously man, check it out, ambient music like this is my favorite, and this is definitely one of the best albums in that genre.

I gave it a listen on Last.fm and rather enjoyed it. There's not much to it but it's very relaxed and mellow, if you're into that sorta thing I reckon you will like it.

I picked this up a couple of days ago as well. I'm really impressed and can't put the game down at the moment.
