Just relax and use the ignore list if you absolutely cannot stand certain members. I'd encourage you to mock them instead, but if you can't stand them, just ignore them. Rules are there to stay consistent and for higher ups to strictly follow in day to day proceedings are they not?
I'm all for people getting second chances, but if someone can trigger a permanent ban rule and still come back from the grave of GAF then we should look over other people's bans and see how they're looking to change their ways and make up for their past mistakes too.
But hey that's just a theory, a GAF theory.

I love my boy brap, but even I can concede that giving rule-breaking people infinite second chances is no way to run an online community.

Well, I was banned for calling Evilore a cunt. I never intended that as a form of insult, it was more of a salty joke. I was misunderstood. But if that offended you Evilore in some way, I'm sorry. It was Easter that day and I'd thought I'd wish you a happy easter. I was a bit pissed off for the whole thread making privilages stuff so I added the cunt part. But I really didn't mean it as an insult. It was lighthearted and a joke. But still bad judgment on my part. Bro if that offended you, I apologize.
After being permabanned, looking back at all the posts and drama I caused, I see that I've been acting like a childish dick. I work 12 hour shifts, and 90% of time at work, I spend on GAF. So it means a lot to me. Gaf I mean. Gafdiction is a real thing. Sometimes I even rather be on gaf then play games. I like the community and the free thinkers inhabiting the trashfire. I'd like to come back home if that's possible. I don't give a shit about making threads, fuck thread making abilities. I'm having a hard time coping with this lockdown, my princess is in another castle. Across the border. I was a moody bitch. And I was taking gaf way too seriously. I should've dialed it down a notch.
As for the alts, I only really had one. That is the porch pirate. All the others came after the perm.

For my part, I would love to see Electro back.
He's back two seconds in this thread, for example, and we're already having fun. The positive actions of people like this are a huge plus, and contribute immensely to the enjoyability of the forum.
That doesn't mean the rules, or basic decorum, shouldn't apply to their negative behavior. If these people are really ready to turn over a new leaf though, and shed the negative behavior... why not?
We're all family here. Family forgives and cares about one another (as the mod team has shown, to be sure), provided the family member is worthy of it, and respects the family themselves.
To be clear, if these returnees make an agreement, then go back on their word, it should be an immediate perma, and nobody should complain.
Your word is truly important and if you're willing to say whatever to get back in the fold, and never really meant it, that's just a slap in the face to everyone involved, and demonstrates truly poor character.

Been alot of hostility here lately even from prominent members that are usually cool for the most part. Never directed my way as I rarely engage in heated conversation but I see it.
