Can't answer you all, but here is the problem......Some posters can't help themselves, they go after posters and not the content all over gaf creating an issue, it's stalkish at best, they feel if they get certain posters banned that their echo chamber will be louder and their marketing work will go down smoother.....We are all fans of one system or another, but some guys take this way too seriously and personalize it way too much......That's why you will never find me here begging for anyone's ban for their position, so I can respect a poster like statham or Alexandros, my only issue are people who can't argue without resorting to insults. Some posters you actually see the hate and vitriol through their posts and it's directed at posters just because they disagree with them, that is air-bubble culture, these people have to re-evaluate the strength and elasticity of their skin. because that cant be a good attitude for the real world. Here we are protected by anonymity but if you go insulting and throwing tantrums for tame stuff out there, you would be in for a world of hurt and anxiety...
Just look at the first couple of responses to my post here, it's the same thing, people cant just deconstruct a post without the personal hateful clingings……..Even this thread, I've seen it used more for people airing out their distaste for other posters, this should not be, we come in here to debate why certain fallen posters should be given a second chance or to have their bans reversed, but some people still console-warize this whole thing, they come here to ban-beg instead, even for posters who are not banned and did not break the TOS, that's sad that these posters can't argue their way in a conversation civilly but would rather just ask for bans for said posters......
I think there's a level of hypocrisy too....Whoever resorts to insults, I will not support, whether it's Sony, PC, Nintendo or XBOX. There are a few civil posters on all sides, they keep it together no matter what.....The problem especially with XBOX fans is that some of the calmer posters will see other posters go into every thread to disrupt it with wrong information/fud and they say nothing, they praise these posts with likes and any Sony poster who gets a little frustrated presenting the same data over and over again, they mass report.....It's a means to an end for them and it's their strategy...….And it's as simple as falsifying confirmed information like 9.2TF instead of 10.3, NO VRS, NO Mesh shaders, it is these falsehoods that most times get lots of back and fourth that goes no where.....
Here's the thing XBOX fans...….The PS5 is unlike the Series X, it just cant be a direct comparison, but in many instances I've seen a thread created to discuss aspects of the PS5 architecture, where the first page is riddled with 'another SSD thread, this is a dumb thread, 12 > 9.2TF, these are the posts that disrupts threads, so who exactly do you think are posting these? And as I said, these posts gets lots of likes and said posters are strengthened in their drive-by posting, they get pats on the back for spreading falsehood and trying to quell discussion on a "discussion forum", can you imagine?...….So I'm not at all surprised if there is organized thread shitting and trying to get people not to discuss PS5......The Discord leaks/revelations were tantamount and I happen to have seen the ID name of a so called neutral poster here who has been campaigning for my ban the last few months like an obsession...…..I'll say this, I don't have a Sony clique, I have always been a lone ranger, my opinions are mine and mine only, no Sony guy has to agree.....I don't have meetings to battle XBOX fans, many times when I see certain people mention my name, I don't even remember the discourse....Guys grow up, if we had a disagreement on consoles since 2011, why are you still harboring this in 2020, my posting style suggests that I never attacked you personally, only the argument, so if you are so personal about things I said about a console, you need to re-evaluate things urgently, life is too short for all that anger..
How about trying this, allow the discussions to remain factual, don't drop in drivebys you know to be false info, if we take the info MS and Sony gave, we can discuss the pros and cons civilly, but you need to bring more to the table than 12>9.2TF.....Also XBOX fans generally just wait for some one to make a PS5 thread and they go to town, why is no XBOX fan making a XBOX thread where they discuss why the hardware assembly is well thought out and why it will be more than enough to create great looking games, why it will be fast enough and why the memory setup will be good enough and explain technically.....You cant fault a PS guy for believing in PS5's architecture, the consoles are different from this gen, so of course there are lots of unknowns and lots of good discussion to be had surrounding them......If we do less drivebys and less eschewing of confirmed information the tech threads will go much better....
We need to start making better and more truthful arguments.....Having said that, the culture of people only wanting people they agree with or like on GAF, "because of a piece of plastic" maybe it's undoing. GAF is not an echo chamber, the whole point is to propogate discussion, just look at how easy things will go silent if all people do is agree. I suspect some people may just want that, perhaps they should re-create the XBOX forums, but like anything else, they would still not be satisfied because on the XBOX forum, you would get threads like "Look at what this POS poster is saying about the PS5's SSD on GAF", so it will never end until your tolerance to other views can be handled better ......I don't hate any XBOX, PC, Nintendo or Sega fan here, people like what they like, just discuss civilly without denying confirmed information...…...I don't want anyone to get banned either, I've been on a few forums, the people who act tough online are usually not that tough at all, cut the BS, let's just discuss the games...

ban is inconsistent modding. No idea why he would be banned for that especially as it's been there for over a day. Conspiracy theorist in me says he just got reported by one of the many active CCP apologists running wild unchecked on this forum.
