It comes off as really inconsistent that promoting Russiagate and other conspiracies about Russia is not bannable. This is a conspiracy theory that promoted literal hatred for an entire presidential term, that was investigated and amounted to nothing. And yet I'm still seeing posts about it.

I think it's safe to say that Russia engaged in a campaign to sabotage the election, but no collusion could ever be proven and neither who was Putting attempting to benefit.

IMHO That conclusion is pretty generous toward your position, but even if it weren't, there are similar "but it's safe to say that..." points that can be made for bannable positions too.

There is no question Russia is trying to cause chaos in the social/political aspects of America. However, the original claim was that Trump was working together with Russia and that Trump's victory was illegitimate. There was no evidence proven to link the two or that it even had a very tangible effect on the election. TLDR: Fuck Russia

I had heard you guys are restoring with old accounts that were unfairly banned by the crazed chamber villagers that used to run things here, and I was wondering if I could get my old account fuzed with this one.

If the crackdown on "conspiracy theories" is principled then it should cover meritless theories from both sides, and it should come down harder on people intentionally exploiting the situation to bait other posters or openly telling them to request permabans.
If the recent events at the US capitol are something this forum considers bad then you'd think some of these people who seem so happy about it as to do "victory laps" would be seen as off message and treated accordingly.

I was banned before the "RESET" in 2016 for nonsense and I must say its starting to feel alot like back to the future.
I think the problem here comes down to who determines what a conspiracy theory is . Someone who leans far left or far right will see "conspiracy" where it does not exist .
Its a real slippery slope here.

Its really just a fairly straightforward, fact-based article. It doesn't talk about anyone getting killed. It explains that hospitals were reporting an extra dose was left over in the vials. So Trump administration tried to help by changing the label from 5 to 6 doses. But they didn't realize you only get an extra dose if its done perfectly with zero spillage and with a certain type of syringe. So its interfering with logistics planning now since lots of places don't have the equipment for the extra dose.
Thats just all facts.

I agree... but Here is where things get twisted.... We had Media pushing these narratives even after the investigation concluded you could turn the news and still hear these crazy things. If you had someone listening to only to left leaning media they would believe this .
So if you have people repeating what they hear on the news are they spouting conspiracy theories or do they believe them ?
I can see getting banned if you are spreading BS but if you are being fed BS from National News and repeat it then this should not be bannable. That is a teachable moment but it should not result in a ban.
Let people speak their mind and let the truth be debated, its the only way to neutral.
If there are topics we don't want discussed because there is no consensus then just end all discussion on the subject, not just one side.

Honestly, I don’t know what’s wrong with the conclusions. There was no collusion, Trump and his campaign were exonerated.
What else you expected from the committee.

What's wrong is the mention of the fact that there was some Russian activity as justification for people continuing to propagate the "Trump is a Russian agent and he stole the 2016 election" hoax. I'm finding it very hard to gauge what is acceptable to talk about at this point except for the apparent principle of "it's OK if it's pro-left" but I don't want to believe that is the case because that would be very disappointing, so I'm hoping for a clearer statement of what the policy is, and obviously I'm looking for a principled enforcement of said policy whatever it actually is.
This is not an ultimatum or a threat, but I'm just probably going to post a lot less because of the above. Leftists using every chance to gloat and ban bait and posting pro-left conspiracy theories is not a nice environment, with all due respect.

That's still not even accurate. Pfizer requested the label change and the FDA okay'd it. Trump didn't do anything. The article doesn't need to even mention Trump anywhere, but they instead framed it as if Trump fucked up. Because MSM gonna MSM. Do you deny the header implies this?
