This Month
picked up an icade whilst they were going cheap! Thought it'd be dumb, but the build quality and the feel of the stick is actually pretty sweet!

So to recap my post from the last thread, I've won a TV show contest late december and the prize consists of about $8000 in electronics and gaming gear and I've finally sorted everything out and took pictures.
All in all, an awesome haul. I'm a pretty lucky guy I guess

Pretty awesome so far. iOS and Desktop app work smooth, accurate(weight portion I don't know how accurate the BMI and Body Fat % are) and looks awesome.
It pricey, but worth it. It keeps you accountable for your weight any time you look at your phone.
How rare/hard to find are they now? I picked one up in Japan a few years back for like $30.

Recent Metal Gear Solid haul. My favorite being a brand new, sealed Art of Metal Gear Solid book (which I promptly opened). Along with the Artbook from the HD LE, I think I have my Shinkawa art fix for a while.

I got Skyrim and Sonic Generations for Christmas. I bought the bluray of Batman Begins and Vanquish from Bookoff for 900 and 1400 yen respectively.
I also found a twin stick controller for Virtua On for only 100 yen complete. The box is a little roughed up but the controller looks to be barely used if at all. I am not sure if I will keep it but I thought it was a pretty neat pickup.
My best friend back in the US surprised me by sending me these Sonic figures with a custom card he made.
Finally my biggest pickup of 2011 is my newborn son. He was born on December 2nd as an early Christmas present. Feels good man.

The more sophisticated Junior Mint! They melted, though. It started snowing and my heater went into overload :-( Grew up with them, Lion Bars, Bountys, Smarties, and Galaxy bars.

I would love to try Arkham Horror with some of my friends. Unfortunately I don't think we would ever find time to play it as everyone is busy with families etc.
