It usually takes around two weeks to receive items from the U.S. to Canada. That also doesn't take into account the time for GFC to process your items.

Nope on the component cable, but you can get a good price for it if you plan on using your Wii for GC games from now on. You can grab a component for the Wii for about $3 on Monoprice, so godspeed and have fun with Galaxy!
