EX-SE has Seimitsu parts which are usually the favored parts for Shmups like the one YB mentioned opposed to the Sanwa stocked VLX.

I was gonna put Seimitsu parts in the new VX-SA that came out last month but by the time I spent $65 on them it was just easier to get another EX-SE...and I accidentally had that stick sent to CA anyways, so I won't have it till Christmas. And there is a new VX-SE slated for the end of this month, anyways.

I'm not sure I'd have the courage to mod the VLX...even just button and a stick swap. It is just so pretty as a Sanwa stick.

Also, the camera I took the pictures with. Yes, the camera is seven years old, but it has the ideal pixel density and is cheap! My Canon S30 stopped working properly and I can't stand the smudginess of the high megapixel cameras. Four-five megapixels is my sweet spot.

You can pick if you want them or not. I share the computer so as awesome as it would of been to get the one I wanted, my gf would not be amused. I just love the way it feels to type and how loud it is haha. Its just like my first keyboard, and typing on it feels so natural to me.
