The music pick-up of the month was the Deluxe Edition of Porcupine Tree's new CD 'The Incident'. I'm going to see them in two weeks time in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.
I got some Blu-Rays plus the Battlestar Galactica box set...
Expensive month but a good one.
Plus more classic movies on DVD...
Finally a big stack of comics...

Not exactly a shelter. The adoption center takes in surrenders, animals found, and animals about to be euthanized at animal shelters from around the area and puts a roof over their heads indefinitely until they're adopted. They take care of all their shots, spay/neutering, microchipping, etc. You would think that because the indefinite time frame due to the lack of euthanasia and the limited space that this would cause a very slow rate of adoption, but in fact they are barely able to keep animals there because the adoption rate is so high. People love the place, and they love the animals. It's quite unusual in this day and age IMO.

It's the new Samsung N130.
Completely in matte black with an non-glare screen. The keyboard is near perfect (it's been even better since I disabled Caps Lock ), and it even runs videos in 720p smoothly (Media Player Classic with CoreAVC-Codec).
And yes: That wallpaper is a sneak-preview for November's Pick-Up-Thread!
That picture is me holding Emma. We'll get her in Mid-November.
I already love her to death...

For preparation, we already got some books:
Both my GF and me grew up with dogs in the house, but it can't hurt to educate yourself. Emma shall live a happy life as a well-trained dog.
And yes: That guy is the german Dog-Whisperer (only much more likable than Cesar Milan). :lol

The Elite is from amazon.co.uk. Cost me 215,23 £, with ODST and SHIFT included.
(Already sold ODST since I don't like the Halo-Series.)
That's about 235,- , which is a pretty good deal (for comparison: The Elite costs 250 on amazon.de, without any games).
Turned out to be a Jasper with the adapter that let's you use an optical cable and an HDMI-cable at the same time still included. New units usually don't come with that anymore, so I'm pleasantly surprised that I don't have to buy it seperately for another 30 bucks.
