Tech trees are nice, but I feel that the game should be simple enough and not last an eternity, not to mention I want a game that is fun and balanced.
I'm not even sure yet if there will be special roles, even though I find the idea that someone plays Ghandi with the option to nuke someone quite amusing.

World Congress = usual lynching stuff, but you can also embargo a player which would mean their abilities would be nulled and would be unable to vote for a number of turns.

I thought about a more traditional game, but who would be the mafia? There needs to be a reasonable/flavorful theme that connects them.

Thematically, it would be a direct follow-up. In terms of mechanics, I'd do a lot differently, but I'd still keep the houses. Why mess with a half-proven formula?
