Aren't they the evil cherups that were in the orginal Doom 3? They weren't on the base, they came through the Portal to Hell.

Eitherway, there is nothing in these screenshots that leads me to believe that this expansion will be any different from the main game itself. Cramped, dark corridors got old real fast. A little more variety would have been nice.

Yeah, I noticed that they didn't have the wings too. Don't know if they have been removed, or what, but otherwise, they look like the cherubs in every other sense.

As to why the babies were in hell, well... they were EVIL babies to being with!

I actually liked D3 more than HL2 and Far Cry. It's all a matter of personal taste.. Far Cry really dragged in the end and Half Life 2 dragged so bad in the beginning that I never got into it. Anyway.. I'm looking forward to this expansion..

I'm excited about this. More Doom3 + TV-Out + 5.1 surround + lights off = Sale+1

The TriGen in Far Cry were introduced not more than a quarter of the way through the game. You were fighting monsters almost the entire way. FC is pretty awful, gameplay wise, though.

HL2 was a lot better, but it had too many slow moments. Oddly enough, I found the first half of the game to be FAR superior to the second...

Doom 3 was the opposite. It started out very slow (lots of imps and "samey" hallways), but eventually started to kick some serious ass once more variety was added.
