It depends on who you think Lightning is speaking to anyway at the end. What if it isn't tothe players but to the worshippers of Etro in the XV world?
It's not that deep lol.

Plus I really liked her development with Hope, I respected the goal she had of saving her sister, I liked her development with Snow. She did some cool shit in cutscenes. I liked her outlook. I just liked her character in that game lol.
Respect? That she wanted to commit mass genocide to save someone who cannot be saved except by divine intervention? Okay...
She had no outlook. She lead the party to their doom. What happened at the end was not planned beforehand. The plan was they were going to kill most people on the planet and then let themselves get off'd because of their "ideals."
Respect is the last word I would use to describe Lightning. If anything she was the real villain of the game that was just talked out of committing mass murder.
Anyways, enough about Lightning and FFXIII. Stop bring her up in FFXV threads. There should be a rule against this.
Yeah, but the problem was that it looked more amazing years before the game came out. Of course people cared when they saw that they could've had it better.
Compared to what we saw here or let's say in Witcher 3 that downgrade is almost unnoticable c'mon. I actually even prefer the lighting (and Lighting) in the most recent version.
Btw... still not type0 up for preorder on the eu psn store. Damn
I don't think so. If you go back to the original trailer, the downgrade was very obvious in FFXIII. The scene with the forest environment looked absolutely nothing like that in the final release. The 'downgrade' here is nowhere near conclusive. It is very likely they took some things out to get the demo running smoothly. It is likely fewer people are going to notice a few missing graphics features vs better performance and full HD. The trade off is absolutely fine with me for now. It is still looks great. I want those things in for the release version though.
Love those details (in famitsu) about animations depending on enviroment.
I really wonder how they'll deal with the car and hitting NPCs/Monsters with it...
So it appears Behemoth sidequest involves the party tracking his location by finding traces. It really looks like the subquests will be closer to what LR: FFXIII and other open world games did. Also quest-mark up there, probably working like ARR in a way in which you turn it on for the quest you're following. I really hope the sidequests don't make most of the experience here like in DA: I though, I want FF to be a story driven experience and not a collectible mess.
I hope those hunting quests are more like FFXII. I really enjoyed those.

The one in XIII were also great, battle system really bloom there.

If I read this right, even though party members aren't controllable, you can set party members' AI to act in certain ways during battle.
It says here you can set a 'leader AI,' and then set chains of command for 'team members.'
Ex. # of enemies is smaller than your party, so tell your team members to surround the enemy, and they'll move accordingly.
You realize Prompto missing, spend 3 hours looking all over for him and then finally figure out he's at the gas station chatting up Cindy.
@VSXIII was looking at the Luminous Engine tech scan, and mentioned the following:
This is sounding really good. Looks like something more than what we saw in the gambit patent.

Surrounding the enemy? I wonder if enemies take more damage if hit from behind or have a weak spot.@VSXIII was looking at the Luminous Engine tech scan, and mentioned the following:

sounds great! moving on from the simple "cure if health is X<Y"
He's the guy that get lost at the beginning of The Hangover.
Final Fantasy XV |OT| The Hangover XV .
Surrounding the enemy? I wonder if enemies take more damage if hit from behind or have a weak spot.
They likely will. Tabata mentioned he wants the players to think about the directions of attack along with other things. The gambit patent also mentioned similar stuff.
I wonder if the situational party attacks will work in a QTE fashion? Like the noctis and ignis x-strike.
I really wonder how they'll deal with the car and hitting NPCs/Monsters with it...
Off road traversal should be kept for chocobos imo.
Even then,we've seen screenshots where the party fights enemies on the actual road itself (so its safe to conclude its not an encounter free zone.)
As for driving in cities, yeah its gonna be challenging.
How do you design something that doesn't allow gratuitous violence yet still fun to use ?
These elements and designs are completely new in a Final Fantasy game.
I actually totally understand why they didn't put the car in the demo.It seems complicated to implement.
The car will probably be only usable on the road and in towns. Also they will probably keep NPC off the streets I mean like crossing across the road and such unless if there's a red light the car cannot proceed.

Is there atranslation for the Luminous article?
I wonder if those translations are about the Gambits or just how the AI behaves when executing your commands =X
I wonder if we'll see this in action in this ATR.
At what time is the demo stream airing?
there's a demo stream? where?
I think so, if it's aimed to showcase commands and possible actions for the player, AI management should be a core element of it.
I wonder if we'll see the whole main menu already.
