Armchair analyst time, but I think I'm right.

DDD is definitely the "2015 KH". I bet they're going to release it with cutscenes from KHchi, and a bonus movie leading into KH3. And, given past release schedules, it will probably be released around December '15, by which point PS4 will be prominent enough that a PS4 release is all but guaranteed, with cross-gen as a possibility but not a given.

KH3 demo could sell DDD HD like hot cakes...

If they manage to ship a KH3 demo in 2015 that is..
 
I hope Sora's "new duds" are white, in homage to Roxas. Side note: IIRC there was pre-release material where Nomura (or another designer, but I'm pretty sure it was Nomura) talked about how Roxas' white and Sora's black were supposed to be symbolic when contrasted with one another, although I'm not sure how this came through in KH2, or if the concept was dropped or just not touched upon or whatever. Roxas = white = nothingness? Was Sora supposed to struggle with darkness originally? I dunno.

I also hope Riku's are black, because darkness etc.

I agree that it's inevitable, I wonder how they're going to market it though.
"2.7 HD ReMIX"? And with only one full game, what's the price point? $30?
It's the sort of thing that I'd expect to be a download-only title, but since KH is apparently forbidden from having downloadable versions...

actually, maybe DDD will go PS4/XB1 only with a KH3 demo?

I'd totally buy a DDD HD - I had fun with the 3DS version even though I have several gripes. All this talk of KH3 makes me actually want to buy 2.5 soon... I was going to just wait for a price drop because I still haven't even beaten 1.5 yet (got sidetracked and kept buying new games). I was always more interested in 2.5 than I was 1.5 though.
 
Can't wait to see UE4 KH goodness! It looks amazing already...cant wait to see Sora and Kairi's new outfits. Kairi is going to show up kicking ass surely

LoD being huge is great. The graphics comment is exciting too.

Square Enix held a Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix fan event in Los Angeles earlier today. The event began with Livan playing Kingdom Hearts songs like "Kairi" and "Hand in Hand" on a piano. Surprise guest, Kingdom Hearts composer Yoko Shimomura joined him for duets of "The Other Promise" and "Dearly Beloved."

All the way at the end was a little teaser for Kingdom Hearts III. Tetsuya Nomura, Kingdom Hearts series director, said it was too early to show worlds, but wanted to show fans something new. We were not allowed to record any footage from the teaser, which opened with concept art for Heartless in the upcoming game.

One enemy looked like a souped up Blue Rhapsody Heartless with flames around it. Another enemy looked like the Soldier Heartless type with angel wings. A new enemy, a large Heartless with a bull-horned helmet, looked like a knight. There was also a tiny Archer heartless holding a bow with a quiver on his back. Some of these were sketches, but others like the Knight Heartless were 3D models.

A clip of Sora wearing his Kingdom Hearts II costume was shown next. He had the Oathkeeper keyblade in his hand which could transform into a gigantic gun. When fired, Sora would rock back a little bit and a star-like projectile fired from the bazooka-like weapon.

The next scene showed a town with white houses stacked on top of each other and huge windmills. This town seemed grand and tranquil, not unlike Twilight Town, but instead of a sunset palette the buildings were primarily white.

A plaque underneath said "Cable Town" and the camera zoomed into one of the buildings. Doors opened and the camera panned horizontally by chess pieces (one of the pieces had Mickey’s head on top) and a chess board.

The scene switched to Sora entering the room and walking towards the chess pieces which were placed by a window. Sora picked up one of the pieces and the trailer ended with a message promising more Kingdom Hearts III news in 2015.

Kingdom Hearts: Re:Dream Re:Drop Re:Distance HD. Maybe do something like Type-0 HD & improve the graphics a bit more than just HDfying everything, then slap a 30$ or 40$* price tag on it.

*only if they include something KHIII related or other extras.

I'd be more interested in some of Disney's older stuff. Like Jungle Book. And some newer stuff could be cool too, like Tangled. But what we really need is some Pixar love. Give me The Incredibles.

I was surprised they showed off such raw, almost prototype-esque footage like that, but it was nice to see an actual environment (library/study) running in UE4. Still super early looking.

When I saw the wings on Sora I thought of Kid Icarus/Pit.
 
Uh..i cant even imagine it. The beautiful art style of KH in UE4 with the power of the 8th gen...my god
 
They showed three trailers befor the event started: Into the Woods, Cinderella, and The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Wonder if that had any significance other than being Disney properties...

Also Nomura did say the box art for II.5 has meaning in the positioning of the characters that hasn't been revealed it (ie likely KH III related).
 
Unexpected! This just makes me look forward to playing the ever loving shit out of 2.5 when it launches here on Friday. Really need to clear out some of my backlog before it does.

Why do I get the feeling that whatever this new footage is, we won't see a clean ver. until Jump Festa later this month.
 
The pixar movies all have nice cool worlds to explore, easy partners, and easy villains to use as bosses. I hope they actually use them. Wreck it Ralph would be hard to do because of all the licencing (unless they just use the new characters which would be fine with me) but could be cool and BH6 would be awesome.

It won't have been on PS consoles before, so the price, like Type-0, would be full, one imagines. They can call it more a remake than a port, as with Type 0.

Wreck it Ralph would really cool if only for John C Reilly returning, because I could easily see him reprising his role.
 
I hope they add KH 1,2, and BBS with DDD if they decide to remaster DDD to PS4/Xbone. I really dont like DDD that much compared to god teir BBS and great 1 and 2
 
Did they say if they will show this footage sooner or later on the Internet, like that gameplay sequence from the Disney Thing Conference 2013 ?

I need to see this NOW ! Oh, please, Nomura, show a thing or two this week, at The Game Awards 2014 or the PlayStation Experience, I don't care, just show that game !

A pretty cool thing to do with Wreck it Ralph would be to ignore the other characters owned by other companies & do something small scale and meta with other SE properties. Okay, so FF is part of KH's world proper. What if DQ, CT or TR were just video games in Ralph's world?
