Actually the Micro screen looks even brighter than the GBA SP one from that shot.

Nope.jenov4 said:I'm sorry, but did Nintendo even do a press release for this at all?
drohne said:except for those two weeks of nonstop meteos, my ds has been an overgrown gba with a vestigial second screen. obviously the ds is improving, but given its susceptibility to minigames and nongames and bad 3d, i don't think it's library will ever match the gba's.

drohne said:for your tastes maybe. all the ds games i'm looking forward to are 2d action games in the gba style. which are inevitably less numerous than they were on gba.
Brandon F said:Wow, first time noticing this thread.
Just to make clear, the boxes WILL specify the hardware as having the backlit display in some form right? Also what colors are available?
Yes, check this also.Brandon F said:Ok thanks. Also MSRP still $79.99?
soundwave05 said:Fair enough. What were all the great 2D action games on the GBA though?
drohne said:uh, was there ever any yoshi love? i like its take on touchscreen platforming better than i like kirby's, but a rental was more than enough yoshi for me. maybe you're confusing me with someone else.
Yoshi Touch & Go rocked. It was a modern day arcade styled game.AniHawk said:Oh, I see. I guess I'm still the only person on the board to really enjoy Yoshi Touch & Go.

Micro screen still looks clearly the best from that shot. Also IGN says the refresh rate on the new GBA SP can cause a bit of blurring effect. Just a couple of things to keep in mind. So those of you "kicking" yourself for getting a Micro might just want to chill out a bit, heh.
I just noticed the D-Pad on the Micro is the same one on the Revolution controller. Micro/Rev seem to be the start of new era of more style-oriented Nintendo hardware.

TerryLee81 said:There are a lot of GBA games I'd like to play, but be able to play the new castlevania (release ist today here!) is a nice extra.

GBPlayer or GBA SP
don't count controls, simply in terms of visuals, immersion, and screen...
...wha?Mejilan said:Awesome junk.
Ok, I got a new Black GBA SP v2 today. It's hot shit, but for GBA games, I definitely prefer the Micro.

Electrii said:...wha?
then why did you buy it?

then why did you buy it?
Well, that's a pretty hard comaprison to make, given that GB Player has no standard screen/audio/etc. setup.Alcibiades said:ok, someone make the call:

Are all the GBAs in the new colours (graphite / pearl blue) the enhanced ones?
So, if I order one from this store, is it guaranteed that I get a new model with backlit screen?
