New PS5 pro footages of Spider-man 2, TLOU 2 and Dragon Dogma 2. Brazile of course.

They are running double the framerates of the quality mode, at better quality. Its a clear upgrade. Get better eyes.

So sorry my 20/15 vision offended your precious piece of plastic and silicon

Frame rates being better is fine but there is more to graphics than solely frame rates. And the pro is really not a big difference lol

The graphic mode maybe can salvage with VRR. Don't know the exact frame rate but appear to run below 60. Maybe 40 to 60. Still, balance mode look and run alot better than the base consoles.

I dunno; hasn't VRR on the consoles mainly been a mixed bag? Though, since PS5 Pro has silicon-based image upscaling tech, maybe VRR implementations on it will fare better?

So now it looks like PS4 game?

Well it looked kinda like one before the Pro patch even so 🤷‍♂️

They are all looking pretty great.

I’ll certainly be downloading Spider-Man 2 on Thursday, along with GT7, FF7:R and Formula 1 24. After that, I’m not sure. I’m kind of intrigued by Alan Wake 2. No doubt I’ll be spending the first few days just checking out the new graphic settings.

Most of the other games in my digital collection, like BG 3 and DD2 I’ll eventually get around to.

I am wondering if the RT in GT7 will appear in VR. It’s crazy that I have so many questions so close to release.

Yeah it's almost like if SIE let Mark Cerny give a real presentation on the Pro (like he did with Road to PS5), most of these questions would've been answered well ahead of release.

The fact anyone there though a nine-minute commercial with buzzwords and mostly-bad selection of showcase titles was a good first impression is completely baffling, but not surprising with current SIE :/

Somehow this game is still a masterwork in art direction, even all these years later.

Was going to say, did you ever stop to think that the games weren't ready to be displayed, but then I saw who the poster was.

Dragon's Dogma 2 has probably been the best showcase for PS5 Pro so far. At times it almost looks a generation ahead of the base PS5 version.
Happy Half Baked GIF

Apparently it's still rendering, the Spiderman 2 video is in HDR and looks great ->

Well color me surprised, I didn't expect to lean towards the performance pro mode over the new fidelity mode but the PSSR image stability + 60fps is winning over whatever graphical improvements are present in the new fidelity mode. From an IQ perspective, I can't see a difference which is a good thing. Of course this is just one sample but interesting nonetheless.

Dragon age HDR processed.

The fidelity mode look sharper but that to be expected. For the performance mode Like I said. Look like it running closer to 1080p internally. Look alot better and sharper compare to the base ps5 performance mode.

need to see more footages running without HDR. I think adding HDR into these footages here make it worst.

Nice, this is what i wanted to see and alan wake 2 still, but DA looks pretty crisp in performance mode. Much better than base PS5

Is Dragon Age already patched or is this just placebo?

It patched. Although HDR here degrade some of the details, i can tell it look substantially sharper than the base ps5.
Patched. Check out some base ps5 performance footage...it looks really blurry
Yup. Just checked out some video. Boy it is bad especially in the outdoors area with trees and grasses.

It's a huge difference running the quality modes at 60fps. 30fps makes games look horrific. Get better eyes.

Here’s some 2 ply Sony Pro tissues for your fan boy tears

50$

You can get them for 30$ though if you trade in your regular 2 ply Sony tissues

(There’s not much of a difference between the two, but some say they significantly wipe up the tears better)

Can’t wait for DF cause I can’t see any improvement

You need to join this better eyes club. Apparently no matter how good our eyes are or even if we plan on getting a pro, we need better eyes to see this remarkable, astounding, at times a generational leap of a difference

Those uploaded videos are shocking. It's best to wait for DF rather than rely on someone who can't even calibrate their picture settings correctly.

I'm going to stop watching those youtube videos. There's something really off about the way they are capturing HDR footage and I don't think their calibration settings are even properly set. It looks washed out.

I will wait on DF for any future footage prior to me getting the Pro.

I was hoping that with each day closing in on release, we'd learn of more games but that hasn't been the case except for Baulders Gate 3, AC Mirage, and Lords of the Fallen.

Missing: Plague Tale Requiem
Space Marine 2
Silent Hill 2
Cyberpunk 2077
Black Myth Wukong
Sony games-astrobot, ghost of Tsushima, Death Stranding, Uncharted 4
FF16
Black Ops 6

There are a lot more unconfirmed than just these but these are what I consider huge omissions...

This is going to look ridiculous good.
It is that Demons Souls has been unfairly forgotten, years later you see the Elden Ring and they seem different generations. Bluepoint brought out one of the exponents of this generation and being a launch game.

It looks even better on PS5pro, better shadows and definition.

But that's super easy. I visited my ophthalmologist today. He said my eyes suck and i only got two options: Laser surgery or preordering a PS5 Pro :messenger_winking:
But to be serious, there will be games with bigger graphical differences and games with smaller to none differences. Also YouTube is not the best source.

In the performance mode, Alan Wake 2 is not gona have any significant improvement in term of image clarity from what I seen. There maybe a bit better stability and graphics wise.

I still think Alan wake 2 is the most disappointing upgrade overall for the performance mode unlike Dragon Dogma 2 which is night and day differences and also there is significant image quality/clarity favor the pro for Dragon age.
