Next Destiny Expansion Reveal Today, $30, PS4/XB1 only, Sep. 20th

I want to see enemy gameplay but looks like they are showing concept art and the trailer screenshots.

The new armor reminds me of the Rasputin armor set

Obviously, what matters is how the content stacks up to the price. TTK was quite reasonably priced at $40.

Especially when you consider TTK included the April update.

I just turned off the stream. Pretty pictures are nice but I'll wait for gameplay. Also interested in what dropping last gen means for us. More vault space?

New Enemy Type!

Its hand is a cannon?

I have no problem with this...

I think PSX would be a great time to show off Destiny 2, after the expansion and the rest of the team fully moves over to Destiny 2 Development.

Yeah that does make more since, I'm just curious whether or not Activision has anything planned for E3, because unless they are keeping everything on lock down, right now it seems like they have nothing.

There's nothing really in here that's worth it to me. Destiny burned us all before and I'm surprised at people saying they'll be back. This looks like more of the same so I'll be passing.

They didn't burn me, I got tons of hours of enjoyment out of Destiny. The Taken King dlc was fantastic and totally worth the price or admission, so I'm looking forward to this one as well.

People get really overly dramatic over Destiny.

The price of half a game for a DLC expansion pack

This type of attitude is why we're stuck with the bullshit freemium garbage models and or loot boxes systems.

We should be willing to pay if the quality and value of content is there.

Yup, which makes revealing 4 days before E3 even more asinine. But hey they've got people who know what they're doing with stuff like this and do research right? So what do I know.

They have 220k people wathcing on twitch right now.

All those people + millions more who read about this stuff will be looking forward to the E3 conference where it'll be revealed.

If they use being PS4/XB1 only to actually improve the experience in a big 3.0 patch that might be interesting.

Got no interest in just more Destiny though.

Flame axe is like the Sword of Crota or Scorch Cannon :( temporary. Though it'll be powerful I suppose.

Significant light increase.... so at least 400?

What's max light right now? 330?

335.

OMG NEOGAF MENTION! XD Calling out the "why does the Space warrior have an axe" comment

Deej follows us and reads our opinons confirmed. if you're reading this Deej post-livestream will there be a neogaf branded troll armor?

Another re-skinned "new" group of enemies :-/

Technically the reskinned enemies do have model/poly differences as well. It's subtle, so most people miss it.

It makes sense since there's only 4 races in. The game that you won't see anything widely different besides maybe bosses.

So everyone will have a GHorn I guess. Doubt it'll be anywhere near as good as the original if they're doing that.

Hah, calling out that post from yesterday. "Because Destiny" is right.

It's actually nice that they've built this world where they can say fuck it, flaming hammers and laser swords and rocket launchers with viking armor. Why not.

They take an exotic weapon away only to drop it back into the game in DLC as a new reward.

That's a crappy way to deal with loot, but that's Destiny.

You forge Gjallerhorn.

For the record the lore of the weapon always said it's made out of the armour of fallen Guardians.

Loved the Sword forging Quest so it's cool to see a return to that.

Was half worried they'd have an audio clip of me screaming like crazy when my first Gally dropped - it was actually the last damn exotic I needed to complete my collection. Happened at Atheon around 3am and I scared the shit out of my sleeping girlfriend.
