Next Destiny Expansion Reveal Today, $30, PS4/XB1 only, Sep. 20th

Price is good, but setting and amount of content seems a bit lacking. I mean Taken King was $40 and had an insane amount of content and an enemy that was really interesting and built up over the past year, this Siva (?) enemy seems kinda out of nowhere and not really that interesting. Is it an AI? It doesn't seem to tie in well to the rest of the Destiny-verse either, like whats going on with the Queen... or the Cabal... or what remains of Oryx's army... or the robot things...

Said it in another thread but if it was a month earlier it'd be an easy buy, but with FFXV 10 days later it becomes a bit more interesting. I know i'll probably still buy it and play in between FF15 sessions, but I also know its highly likely I'll abandon the game after 3-4 weeks too, like I have every time now.

Not going to lie, I am a sucker for stuff dealing with Lord Saladin and the Iron Banner. Such a cool theme to make an expac on.

There's nothing really in here that's worth it to me. Destiny burned us all before and I'm surprised at people saying they'll be back. This looks like more of the same so I'll be passing.

You don't speak for anyone. So fuck off trying to speak for me with that comment.

dude you don't speak for me. Day 1! Destiny is GOTG for me!

TheWall..
Winter.

heh... they gotta grab some mindshare somehow, and they are doing it! totally makes me think of GoT watching this stream right now.

I'm being such a downer but...I'm not that excited for more loading screens between social spaces. I want to be more excited for this...

So all future dlc was meant to be subsidised by those cheap as fuck microtransactions, yet they charge for this. Cheeky cunts.

Ok, Bungie... price/content looks reasonable.

Now, the last time you gave us remixed strikes, it was fantastic to envision the deep strike playlist that should've resulted... but, as you added the remixed strikes, you removed a bunch of other strikes, leaving us with a similarly limited, repetitive playlist, just like we had before.

So, this time, when you add new remixed strikes, can you not also remove content simultaneously?

Thanks in advance.

New patrols, new public events, new landing zone for Plaguelands. Seems like a new destination like the Dreadnaught, but located on earth rather than a separate destination on the director.

Looks pretty cool. I am glad that they arent just giving the Gjallahorn for a preorder. The quest to get certain exotics from TTK were some of the best parts. Glad that is continuing

Hype confirmed. Surprised they're not waiting for Sony's E3 tho?

Destiny 2 is rumored to release in march 2017. They might show that at E3...

I HIGHLY doubt it, but I'm not sure why they would show it before E3 since Activision doesn't have much that anyone knows about that will be showing at E3.

Other people have mentioned it over and over, but that was never the plan (at least communicated to us).

Small updates would be funded by DLC, big expansions were never promised.

Obviously, what matters is how the content stacks up to the price. TTK was quite reasonably priced at $40.

I understand your point of view, as well as those that speak out against these pricing structures.

My position falls more in line with those who don't like the way these games and these content drops are priced, but I also know that's simply the way things are going to be moving forward. I'm an old man (not actually old) yelling at clouds I'm afraid.

It also doesn't help to complain when I know I'll buy this like the crack addict I am. Ahem.

More like September. 0% chance at March.

Doesn't seem like it, which imo makes this stream pointless. I don't know why these pubs/devs are doing this battlefield 1 and now this, people wanna see some gameplay.

It seems very light on details so far.

Concept art is cool but I wanted to know not about the meat and potatoes of the expansion.

Another re-skinned "new" group of enemies :-/

I mean, this always seems a broken complaint to me.

Remember all those new enemy types that replaced the covenant and flood in Halo?

These are pretty drastically mutated and augmented Fallen.

It's like saying Splicers in Bioshock are no different than Humans....

I think PSX would be a great time to show off Destiny 2, after the expansion and the rest of the team fully moves over to Destiny 2 Development.

Weren't we supposed to get this for free due to micro transactions being added in?

Im not buying another 30$ expansion for this game
