Next Destiny Expansion Reveal Today, $30, PS4/XB1 only, Sep. 20th

Lol the only reason people were excited about Ghorn and acted that way was because it was rare as fuck.

Now... lol... Oprah handin them out like cars.

Its kind of funny that youll still have the people who "earned" (lol) theirs looking down on the ones running around with the free knockoff.

They take an exotic weapon away only to drop it back into the game in DLC as a new reward.

That's a crappy way to deal with loot, but that's Destiny.

I completely agree with this even though I'm coming off this reveal in a positive way due to the price. Passing off a Ghorn update as "new content" is bullshit.

With the Axe being a temp thing, makes me wonder why Scorch scan on and the Croats sword haven't been put in the heavy arsenal.

Up for pre order on PSN (UK) now. At least this time, for once, it isn't $=£, $30 = £25 now. Should techncially be £20, but happy it's closer at least.

Depends on who you were. Friend of mine got it to roll out of a blue engram week one. However, it took me 1500+ hours and I only got it when Xur sold it.

Before everybody gets all excited about a new raid, remember Crota's End.

For the glitches or the content? It was a pretty cool raid outside of a couple things. It was an exploit/bug fest for longer than it should have been but the content was pretty damn cool.

The lantern section was awesome, especially doing it solo which was just so fun.

I'm genuinely surprised they did not talk about how they'll make it work, or how that's compatible with their decision to leave it behind in year 1. They probably didn't want to lead with "the Horn is back. Also, we nerfed it." but if that's the case, they should probably say so.

But if the new philosophy is to just let us be powerful in PvE again, I'm all for it. Especially if that means we can have awesome shotguns back. #makeshotgunsgreatagain

Missed a few parts of the stream - are these new mutant Fallen different enough to consider them a new(ish) faction ala the Taken?

Didn't show them in combat, but they mentioned new behaviors, IIRC. They certainly look different (bio-mechanical).

If that's their new guiding light, I'm in.

The thing that broke my heart about TTK was leveling up beyond my best pre-TTK loot only to put on the equivalent of rags and generic bits, only at a higher light level.

I really hope they find a way to keep the loot progression feeling like a progression rather than a reset - I'm not sure I'm willing to toss everything out again, only to replace it with junk with higher numbers.

From what they said. They look different and act different, and have different weapons, so yes?

Depends on where you stand on the whole Ship of Theseus thing.

They reasonably nerfed it already - I sort of feel it was left behind in Y2 to give the game a chance to breathe, honestly.

It also looked like the wolfpack round "cloud" was a light more tightly bunched. So that might make it a lot less "fire in general direction of AI, kill everything"

"Earned" by playing a digital lotto lmao. people are hilarious about it. Now when doing actual quests to earn shit that means earning a weapon like they introduced in Taken King.

Getting Weapons like NTTE, The swords, the Raid Exotic etc. those are earned. lol

Well, I'm coming back. This'll be fun... for 10 days.
FFXV

I just need to know if it's going to have a physical version or not.

"People still play this game?"
230.000 viewers for a little stream.

Well a "little stream" is a bit wrong.

It was the reveal of their new,big content expansion since last year.
It wasn't just a "oh hey community, want to talk" random stream

So I just now joined the stream and went back a few pages- but does this look like it has the same amount of content as Taken King or more/less?

We honestly can't really tell because we only have content info like "new raid" "new missions" etc.. which don't tell us how many or how long they are.

I would wager it will have slightly less than TTK.
