Well if Nintendo does plan on shipping a new "next gen" system within the next couple years, they'd have to get developer kits out to third parties pretty quickly here imo.

There's no way Nintendo is working on a next-gen console. They ARE working on a last-gen console that while mobile will not be as strong as the steamdeck but weak as a soggy bottom sponge cake.
