GPU/CPUs run at much higher temps than that.. ~80C is perfectly normal for a GPU.

So you can't hold it in your lap lol

When I mounted PCs if the case temperature was over 35-40 Celcius I should add some additional fan and/or exhaust to it to cool it down (most if not all cases have spare pins for fans).
CPU and GPU can reach these high temperature not the case but they have dedicated coolers too.

The Series X APU is probably running way hotter than 45 Celsius if the box/case is reaching 45 Celsius.

PS. Here in Brasil the environment temperature is way higher than what you guys are used too (today I had max of 41 Celsius).

But of course it says that after 5 minutes the console went to (7 ° | 44.6 f). Do you have the console in the fridge? Because I also reach 45º playing if the outside temperature is 7º.

Is it some kind of joke that I can't understand because of the language?

Well, if we are taking these numbers seriously and assuming we are talking about case temperature, it does run at only 7 degrees at idle, that's got to count for something. It really is a fridge.

Honestly, I think the cases on the X1 and PS4 slim I have get hotter than 45 degrees Celsius. That's only about 7 degrees higher than typical body temperature (the basis for what we perceive as neutral/cold/or hot via touch).

PS5 hasn't mentioned HDR10+, so it's either HDR10 or Dolby Vision, both available in their TV's. It's the safest bit for PS5 as it's fully supported.

There is no way an electronic device will be running colder than room temperature, not even unplugged from the wall.

Current high end AMD graphics cards are designed to be run at up to 110 Celsius safely.

It wouldn't even run the code proper. Remember back in the GeForce 200 series times where the cards were running too cool and you would get worse framerates? They had to over-volt them a bit. There are optimal operating temps for a reason.

After 30 minutes of play, the top registers 45.5°C at its peak, while the bottom clocks in at 49.4°C. Finally, a measurement is taken of the vents, which come in at 61.6°C. This is CRAZY AF HOT!

They get a lot of shit for teasing games that end up being launched half a decade later (e.g FFvsXIII which eventually became FFXV).
