I just remembered, the shape of the shadowy image kind of reminds me of the All Japan "Ora-Zaku" Championship 13th Grand Prize Winner, the YAMS-130B GREIFER. Big torso, shoulders and really thin waist.

I'm like ten episodes in and while it's relentlessly stupid it at least isn't boring so far. So it has that going for it.

I didn't even find it exciting, it was just a horror show of awful editing and bad directing. Such nonsensical plot and characters, utter randomness. It looked like a pretty mess, but ugh. Only a handful of even good looking mecha even, at least with awfulness of Destiny and 00 S2, we got some cool mecha out of it.
