I'm thinking that "NeXtBox" is the best name I've heard so far. Plus the way the (probably fake) logo looks, it's like the T is just a seperator between the X and B... It's like emphasizing XBox in the logo, if you can see what I mean. I wouldn't be too surprised if the real thing turned out similar to that. Outdated design? Come on, have we all forgotten what the actual Xbox console looks like? Have we forgotten the name? Xbox? Sheesh. Could be real.

Saying that Xbox 2 sounds inferior to PS3 is like saying people might think PS2 is inferior to N64. Like someone said earlier - people aren't THAT stupid.

So, to wind this up - NextBox is a fucking shit name. And it won't be what it's called.

That's all this debate is, opinion. The plastic kitchen my toddler plays in is called a 'playstation', and that's what I though (and still) think of when I heard that name. It's right up there with Dreamcast (a what?) for most awful name of any system. But that's just my opinion.

Really, any name once it is repeated enough loses the novelty and just stands for what it represents. People will get over a bad name. (I also thought XBox sucked for a name.)

For my money, Gamecube is the only system name this gen that made any sense. Then again, it isn't a cube.

Fuck, call is "the box that plays Halo 3" for all I care, I'm buying it. (HaloBox?)

But I think it could really be a good candidate from their point of view. They could market it meaning 360 entertainment and so on... and once we'll get used to it it won't sound so strange.
