Eh, we were in "sub" packages on D for something like 75% of all plays last year, our run defense was fine taking that into consideration.

My #1 worry on defense is who replaces Jenkins.
 
There's talk of Dashon Goldson coming to New England. Meriweather is a chump, but I don't know if Goldson is any better.

Do like the signing of Shaun Ellis though.

i haven't watched merriweather consistently but i doubt it's a major upgrade. like i said before, maybe goldson benefits from a system change (whether it's with the niners or pats or anyone else) but he's just not a playmaker. he had 1 interception last year.... that is pathetic from your FS no matter how you look at it.

IF you want a hard hitter who can't really cover anyone and causes turnovers very infrequently then goldson is your man

Meriweather was one of the least deserved Pro Bowlers last year. But comparing the stats, I can't see how Goldson would be an upgrade. But at least he might not get into shootings all the time.

exactly. i'm not sure where the goldson hype ever came from (probably himself).

when the cowboys were interested, this dude from one of the cowpies boards put up a youtube highlight video of goldson. 80% of the highlights came from ONE GAME, the MNF game where we destroyed the cards a couple years ago. goldson had a pick, a FF, a sack, and a bunch of big hits. if he played like that every game he would be worth WM (weddle money), but he doesn't. he gives you ONE game a year like that. the rest of the time he is taking bad angles, not covering anyone and not causing turnovers.

that is a coverup. the true reason he's not wishing him well is because shaun ellis refused to fuck rex's wife while rex watched. should've been a good soldier like revis!

I'm looking forward to the regular season for fantasy football.
After a 16-0 and 14-2 season in which my team was decimating nearly every opponent but have no rings to show for it I'm going to sit back and wait for the playoffs before getting too excited. =/

Rex hasn't done anything to my team. It is more that he just doesn't shut the fuck up, ever.
I know that's just how he is, but nobody likes that shit except the Jets fans. I'm not even sure if they like it either.
Also, how does one rape a dog's feet? That could prove difficult.

I work with a Giants and Colts fan. All I'm saying is I'm going to be keeping quiet and calm when the Pats go on yet another 8-12 game streak where they are the talk of every sports tv and radio show beacause they are so "unstopable".
