The worst part of this injury is that is another new body part. He has hurt his shoulder, knee, ankle, and arguably his none throwing hand. It feels bad man. And he even got that monster $40 million guaranteed before the rookie cap. I fear he really is made of glass and I will have to continue beating up children for making fun of the Lions
Just gotta believe, Goldie. Maybe medicine will advance greatly over these next couple years and bionic body parts will become a reality!

I picked up Shaun Hill in fantasy...

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage

He's practicing today. Shaun Hill is taking first team reps and it appears Stafford is dealing with some discomfort, so I'd count on Shaun Hill starting.

This is the absolute best week to have Hill come in and play to gave Stafford 2 straight weeks off.

True.

I didn't get to hear what Schefter said, but the ESPN headline on the screen was "Tiki to Detroit?" Probably just speculation.

Just, no. He'd get destroyed behind that offensive line. If it's not Barry Sanders, I'm not interested. Also, Keiland Williams looked decent last week.

It'd be a quick way to a second retirement lol. Yeah, Keiland and Mo did pretty decently. A lot of people forget that we won a couple of those last games last season using a RB by committee gameplan. Keiland seems pretty solid, and Mo is always versatile being able to catch out of the backfield. Then you throw in Stefan every now and then for a different look as well.

The networks sure do love the NFC East

Winning championships
well at least 3 of the teams in the division
will do that for you. Panthers fans derping about us being 4-5 can kiss the rings.

I told you it was Keiland Williams future time! I just hate running out of shotgun. But As long as Linnehan has a job, Detroit will keep doing it. Just nice to have Best's versatility, ya know?

And I'm not so much panicked about Stafford, just concerned. Its nice to have an excuse to hit children, but I guess winning is more important to me

Haven't we beaten up enough children over the last decade?! There must be more to life than that!

SANTA CLARA -- Two years ago, entertainer MC Hammer played a key role as a go-between to set up a meeting that led to receiver Michael Crabtree signing his rookie contract with the 49ers.

On Tuesday, Hammer was a guest speaker at a 49ers meeting, as players returned to work after six days off during the bye week.

A 49ers team spokesman said Hammer addressed the team Tuesday afternoon about handling the "trials and tribulations" that can easily come along with being a public figure in sports and entertainment.

Hammer's appearance was set up by Keena Turner, the 49ers' vice president of football affairs. Both Turner and Hammer live in Tracy, and have known each other for a long time.

Some 49ers players went to Twitter to show their appreciation to Hammer for delivering his message.

Hammer was an essential part to the 49ers getting Crabtree signed. He's part of Crabs entourage, which includes Deion and some other retards. The whole Crabtree saga was off the fucking wall.

YEA BITCHES! Andre gon get it on Sunday. Roll on those lowly Jags, revenge our Ravens loss through them! Jags suck anyway, dunno why I'm caring so much. I had this as W back when Arian Andre, AND Mario were out. Ravens lost to them, lol. I wonder how many picks Gabbert is gonna throw?

I also find this funny. "We have a RB with chronic injury issues, we'll make his first game at near 100% against the Ravens". Mind you the Ravens lost on Monday, but it wasn't their D's fault. RayRay is going to blow.him.up.

49ers' Rogers gives agent OK to negotiate extension

It hasn't taken long for veteran cornerback Carlos Rogers to decide he would like to find a permanent home with the 49ers.

"If we can get something worked out, that would be great," Rogers told CSNBayArea.com on Tuesday. "My agent (Todd France) knows that I like what's going on here. I want to be here. This has been great for me, and I would love to get something worked out for five, six years."

I'm surprised that he's willing to start negotiations now considering how much money he would fetch should he hit the FA market during the offseason..

this would be good for both parties to get a deal done now. at this point, both sides can get a fair deal. if we wait until after the season, he could be a lot more expensive. he is playing at a probowl level right now. i don't want to break the bank for him but he has earned a decent contract. he is 30 years old though so it would need to be a 3 or 4 year deal max, but i would have no problem paying him

And Bish and co. usually pick awesome ones (with the exception of all of the ones they gave to me).

Celebrating pre-integration championships is sign of longing for "the good ole days"

I appreciate history just as much as I appreciate the Packers being the 2011 World Champion Super Bowl Defending World Champions of the World current Super Bowl Champs.

I understand why you'd hate history, you jump a team after two bad years max.

Best Pats super bowl win*. Was a damn good game.

And randomly referencing championships twenty years removed as an argument is the siren song of franchises who don't know how to deal with their newfound mediocrity.

I call it the "Jerry Jones Complex"
