Why wouldn't you kick Brady in the crotch the first play of the game? There is almost no dis-incentive to doing so (other than vagina kicks seem to hurt much less than testicle shots). You don't get ejected, it costs you 15 yards (big fucking deal, move them from the 20 to the 35) and you have effectively ruined the rest of Brady's day if not removed him from the game.

If it's anything like Minnesota, you'll even have local writers talking about what a great upstanding guy you are and how you're totally not a dirty player. Christ, the publicity alone has been worth it to a no-name shit heel backup like Robison.
Please, you really think a kick to Brady's glorious crotch would only result in a 20k fine? That's the kind of shit you get deported for.

They are dealing with a union. They won't be able to jack the number up by a significant amount. Precedent set.

But you called him the anti-Vick. Vick ordered and enjoyed the killing of dogs who lost in the dog fighting ring he set up. If being a white, religious QB who doesn't torture animals were all it took to achieve Tebow's fame, he'd have quite the competition in jersey sales

I just meant anti-Vick in that he is a clean cut white guy who has never been in any trouble and seems to say all the right things. Vick used to have a rep as a guy that didnt work hard, would give the finger to his own fans, and just generally be super self absorbed before he went to jail. I really wasnt even thinking about the killing dog stuff when I said he is the anti-Vick.

Kurt Warner's Top 5 QBs:

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Drew Brees
3. Ben Roethlisberger
4. Tony Romo
5. Matt Schaub

Where is Brady? Even Schaub is shocked.

Warner's list is week to week. It's not an "overall" top 5 QB's for the year and he's stated as such during the broadcasts. It's a Top 5 list of QB's he feels have played at a high level after each and every Sunday. Some guys are there regularly (Rogers, Brady, etc.) while the rest changes depending on whether they've been able to string together good performances consecutively.

Some QB's who may have been on a bye won't appear.

I thought there was no way the 2010 Panthers would be matched in terms of worst starts to a season regarding points scored, but I just realized we had 75 points through 6 games while the Rams have 56 (56!!) through 6. Holy shit...that's horrendous!

Yeah just watched the segment on NFL.com. Maybe Schaub will shred the Jags this weekend....

And maybe Gabbert will shred the Texans. Must be nice to finally finish running through the top three defences in the league. :)

Oh you are right that he definitely touches on a lot of the culture wars topics. I just think it's more than race and religion that make him popular. Even rival SEC fans liked him, and those people throw bags of urine at each other

I'm more pissed at the defense than anything else

They would probably eject a guy for kicking a woman in the vagina like that.

Strange, I heard a lot of that sort of thing from Ravens fans last week. :)

Sure, I'm not expecting it, but while we're talking about things that could happen...

That's the thing with firing Spags mid-season, like lots of fans want. The only person to replace him with is McDaniels, and he's the guy running a historically bad offense. Now I don't think that's really his fault, though he's definitely made mistakes. But you can't credibly have him appointed as interim coach.

Some of it is the product of playing some really, really good defensive teams (Cowboys, Redskins, Ravens), but they're on pace for 149 points this season which I think would place them as the 2nd worst scoring offense of all time. For some reason I can't easily find the list of worst scoring offenses, just that the '91 Colts are the worst with 143 points and 14 TDs for one season (the 2010 Panthers had 196 points and 17 TDs). Fun fact, the Panthers have more TDs through 7 games (18) than they did all of last season.

Anyone going to be at Cowboys/Eagles game in Philly this Sunday night? Going with a few of my friends and would be more than willing to kick an Eagle gaffer in the face.

Not sure Gabbert 'shredded' the Ravens. If Jags are going to beat the Titans, it'll be thanks to their defense and their offense simply not turning it over.

There is no precedent when dealing with our Savior, His balls carry the future MVP of the league.

Speaking of nutjob fans, obseve the thread I just made.

See, this is why Tim Tebow needs to be destroyed on the field on the field. I wish the Giants played Denver this year so Tuck/JPP could eradicate that stain from the NFL.

Short Giants practice update:

MikeGarafolo Mike Garafolo
FB Henry Hynoski (neck) is not practicing today. Everybody else is. #nyg

Both Barden and Amukamara are looking quite good in practice according to the beat reporters. If they don't play, it will only be due to precaution at best at this point. Interestingly enough, Barden has been working the slot during the practice all week and seems to like it quite a bit.

Andrew Luck.

If they're able to find someone crazy enough to take on Bradford's contract, then yeah they should go for it. The question is who is that crazy?

Edit: As an aside I think the Rams (or the Raiders) are the best choice to move to LA. I wonder if the NFL front office might be willing to pull some strings with other teams to help the Rams get Luck if they're LA bound.

Victor Cruz gets cut. Michael Clayton survives again.

This was mentioned in an ESPN article (I think the LuckWatch article) posted today, but the Browns could be an interesting possibility. McCoy looks like he's better suited to being a career backup and Bradford's old O-coordinator is their head coach, not to mention they've got extra picks from the Julio Jones heist.

Damn you act like Tebow pissed in your cereal. I don't even see why it would bother you. The guy himself doesn't generate this heat. It's not like he decided that everyone should do the stupid ass planking derivative of him on the sidelines. Wishing injury towards a player is bullshit, you know it, people have been called out on it in this thread, and just because it's a dude you don't like doesn't make it right. So fuck you.

As far as what I think of the guy is simple. He's a good person and a religious person. Do I care about this? Not really, all I care about is that he plays well and stays out of trouble. Give him the 10 games, if he plays up to starter potential keep him and let him develop here in Denver. Otherwise cut him and move on. I'm sick of people saying that Denver fans are delusional. I am a fan of the Broncos first and foremost, and I rooted for Orton until it seemed like it was a dead end. I'll do the same for Tebow until he is no longer a Bronco or benched. Denver has been in a rut for a couple of years and we are finally moving forward whether or not Tebow is our guy.

Hmm, that makes a lot of sense actually.

He's a poor QB who is getting pushed to THE STARS for beating a team Sucking For Luck... hey, they beat the Steelers or the Patriots, I'm crowning the dude. But the Dolphins? THE DOLPHINS?

Tell me Godslay, are you remotely happy in your QB? His organization doesn't even believe in him, judging by the playcalls in that game. They almost put him in a situation to fail, but the Dolphins were just too good, they showed heart and grit and were determined to lose that game.

I won't even get into the question of white/black QB history, I beat that topic to death last week.

If the Rams offense is that bad who do they go after with the first pick in the draft? Justin Blackmon? Matt Kalil?

It all depends on how Bradford plays in the 2nd half of the year. I think he probably could have played last week or this week. But they want him 100% as they evaluate him now that he has legitimate targets.

The line is still bad but there will be plays to make.

They spent a first round pick on him that was questionable at the time. You have to see what you've got in the guy. Plain and simple. In terms of playcalling I'm willing to bet that it will be better this week.

As far as white/black QB history who gives a fuck?

I've got to head back to work, so we will have to continue this later.

They won't go winless. There are teams with less talent and morals out there to go winless. *coughMiamicough*

Besides, they face the Cardinals and Seahawks twice each, they have a few opportunities for a win.

DT Fairley misses practice again, Denver game in doubt
DT Nick Fairley’s second-consecutive missed workout isn’t a good sign for his availability vs. Denver. Defensive coordinator Gunther Cunningham has admitted that Fairley’s conditioning needs work, and continued foot problems will make that difficult. Fairley’s describing the injury as soreness, but multiple missed practices open the possibility of more serious injury issues.

Man our draft has been no show this year.

The Rams have legitimate wide receivers? That's news to me.

If Brandon Lloyd wasn't legit in Denver how did become less legit in St. Louis?
