Dobson had a fine rookie season. Just because he is out the first game doesn't mean he's automatically a bust. You need to relax with this bullshit. Sure Pats haven't had success in the draft at WR that doesn't automatically make Dobson a bust.

You have a different definition of what a 'fine' rookie season is. He had 37 catches and 4 TDs in an offense starved for any WR. Keep in mind, Julian Edelman caught 100 passes last year.

3. Jeffery didn't even start half the games that year.

I'm really not sure how you can defend Belichick's drafting of WRs. WRs and DBs have been the waste zone of shit in the Belichick era. You have players like McCourty whom they've had to move to safety, and of course Asante Samuel but largely it's been utter shit. You're more than welcome to prove me wrong, but I don't think I'm out of line being cynical about Aaron Dobson.
