I need a good MP shooter to play and I don't really want to go back to anything. I got my fill of Destiny and there is really nothing else coming the rest of the year. Far Cry 4 will be fun but that series has never been about good MP.

I got home late last night when I saw the news of the Houston QB change. Good riddance Fitzharvard... no more tipped passes, no more consistently stalled drives that look like they crash on the wall, and HOPEFULLY no more turnovers inside own 20. I see smiles on Andre Johnson and Arian Foster's face goin' "HEY GUYZ!" =D

Say, do y'all think Tony Romo's gonna start? Normally I despise the Cowboys, but because they're facing the Jags, I hope Dallas wins because you know, I want every other team in the AFC South to lose.

Hmm... Cleveland is looking good all of a sudden.

I think it is a done deal he starts barring any setbacks, personally I don't think they should play him though. Sitting him for this week gives him close to a month to recover since Dallas' bye week is next week.

Won't happen Romo will be starting but on a positive not I'm sure Free and Leary will also start. McClain will probably be out I don't think he's practiced all week.

Definitely going to get a table in the basement next year.

Any recommendations? Does it even matter?

If they are all the same I just want whatever folds into the smallest thing possible when we are not playing.

My experience is that you want one with good net and net support quality. Otherwise it just hangs all floppy like a worn out porn stars vagina.

I think you can put any net on any table though right?

I never bought my own table but from what I recall they always have some weird shit to screw on or tighten and it usually looks like it would work on any table.

That's why I mention the nets. I generally think that they're more important than the table so long as you don't buy a real piece of shit table. The net system needs to be of good quality instead of some shoddy metal that bends in a few months and loses all net tension.

I honestly have no clue about ping pong tables, I just play on whatever is there and try to adjust

yeah, they'll work for all regulation tables

some of the clamps are cheaper, but same idea for all of them

Game looks great, it was cruising under my radar but now I'm convinced I'll get it day one.

Sort of off topic: The Xenoblabe official site might have the best game music I've heard since Mario Galaxy. Destiny (say what you want about the game) is the only soundtrack that blew me away this year. Smash Bros is out by default cause it features Nintendo's best tracks and that by default is cheating.

Yeah i am the same way. I really don't know shit about the tables and was being lazy and hoping for a wirecutter review of "buy this one".

I will probably need to get some kind of bumpers for the edges so my kids don't hurt themselves as that is about head high for them and I am sure we will be playing a lot of ping pong. I won't let them win though until they earn it!

Xenoblade X is maybe the only thing that would convince me to purchase a Wii U. I loved the first on Wii, even though I essentially got to the end and didn't beat it lol. I have a problem with that.

I'll have to see if I know anyone still working at the rec - those tables were amazing, but they were probably also $1500

probably replaced the tables since I left though

My little brother got COD : AW, he's having tests this week, so I confiscated it from him. Only played the SP so far, it's okay, but it's no where close to MW1.

It's the same game. You could argue level design, etc, but its the same formula and tropes that have been a staple of the series for years now (oh you can boost dash now though). To be fair I'm only about 3-4 chapters in but outside of the upgrade in pretty - there's nothing in the single player thats standing out as any different that what's come before.

I regret spending $60 bucks on it really and I should have known better but it's easy enough to sell off when I'm done with it. Prefer to be playing Sunset Overdrive at the moment ....
