Kas, I'm pretty sure servers minimum wage is actually like 3-4 an hour. That's totally a thing. I haven't worked one of those jobs, but they do allow them to have a lower minimum wage.

I made $2.38 an hour waiting tables in Maryland. California is different. The only reason we got paid anything hourly was to cover the taxes on out pay checks, because you are required to claim a certain percentage of your sales as taxable income.


That's why you tip unless you're a dick, because the government gonna tax the waiter as if you did.

Waited tables for a year after college. They are supposed to bump you to minimum if you don't make enough tips but they made us claim ten percent of our total sales as tips every shift to divert that law.

I once worked 75 hours in a pay period and got a 7 dollar check after taxes.

Was totally fucked but you couldn't complain because there was no shortage of young people looking to snag your job and good luck gathering the resources to legitimately fight it.

I don't awkwardly hit on any girl. I've got confidence like Matthew Stafford on a last minute 4th quarter drive. If I wanted her number I could've just asked for it.

She works at Golden Corrall dude. That's not the type of customer base that tips so she probably doesn't even get tips. Just walking into the place was depressing and just observing the people you know she barely gets tips.

And I get the whole concept if someone doesn't like a job do something to better yourself. But this $2.13 an hour bullshit is illegal. Federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. I want to know how Oklahoma even got to this point.

I currently work as a Casino Dealer so you get minimum wage and tips however tip while they fluctuate still gives you a pretty good pay check.

Jordan Cameron (concussion) is not practicing Tuesday.
It's not a good sign for his Week 11 status. Cameron has been sidelined the last two games, and remains in the concussion protocol. Gary Barnidge and Jim Dray will continue to start if he doesn't return this week. Cameron's history here is concerning, as he's had three concussions since the 2012 season. For what it's worth, coach Mike Pettine did say Tuesday that Cameron has been doing OK for the past couple days and will update the situation Wednesday.

Did you go to high school in the 1950s?

I was a bus boy in high school at Cracker Barrel and the starting wage was $8.50 an hour. Additionally, although they weren't required to, the waitresses would usually give each of us a $20 or two each at the end of the shift because they made an ungodly amount of money in tips. Then I got bumped up another dollar in wages for coming in at 5 AM on Thursdays to unload the truck. I was in 10th grade and thought I was fucking rich.

Sony delayed DC a year and still 2 months after release people are still having problems with the online, and there is no eta at all on the PS+ version. MCC has been out less then 24 hours. Definitely similar situations.

It was pretty laughable after 3 weeks, but what exactly isn't working with it now? Honest question, I haven't noticed anything

I played it tonight and it was fine. Gregs new club paint job is awesome!

I like that 343 figured out a way to actually add bugs and performance issues to a decade old game. That's a special level of incompetence for Microsofts flagship studio.

It's all in the game plan. Bills are prone to mistakes, too. You'll always be able to get after kyle Orton, and the Bills running game isn't scaring anyone.

I think the Bills match up well with the Dolphins but this is no gimme. Dolphins could just as easily win, especially since they're home.
