Just watched the KHOU report on a 2nd incident of Adrian Peterson hitting a different 4-year-old son last June. Not good at all.
Report says Adrian hit then 4-year-old son last June... left a scar on kids forehead. This can be used as evidence in current investigation
KHOU obtained text messages between Adrian and the boy's mother explaining what happened. 4-year-old cursed at his brother.
KHOU also reported the first text msg shows Adrian saying kid hit head on carseat. When questioned by mother, he says "yes" to hitting him.
The big takeaway is that this "new" case can be used as evidence in the current investigation. Could hurt his case, shows pattern.
That was not made clear. RT @vikingterritory Any indication if this was in "the file" the Vikings had access to?

Apparently this case has AP beating his kid so bad he left a scar on his face.

Wonder if the Vikings think THAT is appropriate discipline for kids?

Let's not cloud the issue with anecdotal stories. Just cold had facts, the stats don't lie. The important thing is that he's averaged 5.0 ypc over his entire career.

5.0 ypc. Let that sink in before your rush to judge.

Sickening.

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Olbermann dropping straight fire on the NFL tonight. Wow.

Silly Vikings are going to have to backpedal on their stupid decision from this morning.

That's going to be interesting to watch.

What are they going to say? "Well, beating one kid is ok, but two? Unacceptable."

Anybody catch the ESPN panel on Sunday morning that asked Ray Lewis, Cris Carter, and Keyshawn what they thought of the AD situation?

New report on AP released today very conveniently. Intended to generate hits for news site, even tweet is an ad. Details indicate scar not caused by AP but purposely worded to be ambiguous. Public bites and continues to vilify even with the most scant of details.

2014.

You pick the most terrible people to support. AP, Ray Rice. I assume you're also a Darren Wilson and Hernandez supporter. Gotta wait for that due process!

It's all a media conspiracy to vilify these athletes.

Full KHOU report http://www.khou.com/story/news/inve...r-son-while-disciplining-4-year-old/15693941/

Mother: "What happened to his head?"

Peterson: "Hit his head on the Carseat."

Mother: "How does that happen, he got a whoopin in the car."

Peterson: "Yep."

Mother: "Why?"

Peterson: "I felt so bad. But he did it his self."

The text messages go on to show Peterson saying he was disciplining his son for cussing to a sibling.

"It's absolutely criminal," said Randy Burton, a former chief prosecutor of family crimes in Harris County, and founder of the advocacy group Justice for Children.

"You break the skin, you have bleeding, much less permanent scars, that is a crime," Burton said.

"This is very damaging information," Burton said.

Damaging, Burton said, because prosecutors in Montgomery County can use it as evidence in the felony case against Peterson.

"To prove intent, that it was not an accident, and to show that it was a course of conduct," Burton said.

"It wasn't a one-off," he said.

Yeah. The 4-year old got a scar from hitting a car seat. Just like how an abused spouse gets a black eye from tripping over a rug.

Has any of the recent news from the NFL hurt it's TV ratings? I'm reading a lot of bad stuff that has been reported, but I still love watching football.

I'm confused why AP believes in this, his father was in jail most of his life for money laundering and cocaine distribution. Obv his real father didn't implement this idea of beating your child.
