Dawkins started in 96', my first full season of watching football was in 98'. I think Dawkins was one of like 10 or something players that started before I started watching football. I recall doing a list in like 2009 or 2010 and there was like 40 something players left, so I only assume it dwindled to 10-15 since then.

He was a great player and a great guy, I think that Dawk will get voted into the HoF at some point. Not first ballot or anything but he will get in. He was the best player and the leader of a team that made it to 4 straight conference championships and made it to a SB. If any Eagle gets in it will be him.

I assume I watched football all my life, but the first seasons I remember are the Randy Wright years in 86 and 87. I kind of remember them more from the conversations I recall though. The first vivid game recollections are from the following year, Majik Man's first season in 1987.
