NFL Off-Season |OT3| Josh Freeman is fat and eats too much food. Fat. Fatty. Fatfat.

Bandwagon friendly franchise with a cool owner, shitty fans, a great passrushing backer, an overrated QB, and an annoying penchant for being called "America's Team" when more people hate them than follow them.

Isn't that the international symbol for failure?
nah, I think there is some sort of bison themed logo for that one.

The Reggie Bush quote is hilarious. I remember being in line at a restaurant off campus once back in college and some sorowhore in front of me talked about how she had a class with Reggie Bush and all he did was look at porn on his laptop in class.

Most hyped fluke QB? Carson Palmer. Dude was compared to the greats, but wasn't fit to hold their straps. And, somehow, he STILL gets cred to this day like he's a great QB. USC QBs smh.

Speaking of which, don't forget Matt Cassel!

I think Palmer's career would've been a lot different if the Stealers weren't full of dirty cheap shotting assholes who ruin knees.

Also if the Stealers weren't dirty and ruined Carson's career that game, the Seahawks would've rightfully won the Super Bowl that they rightfully won anyway.

Also, a quick glance at PFR shows that Palmer's career stats bear a decent resemblance to Eli Manning's. Of course Palmer doesn't have the two SB rings, which kind of goes to show you just how much supporting cast matters!

Carson was on his way to becoming one of the better QB's until Kimo and the Stillers destroyed his leg.

Even though, since then he has been convincingly mediocre and nothing more.

now you might say "well what happened in 2005 to cause this drop off? did defenses just catch up to him?" and the answer is randy moss was traded. randy moss is responsible for the best successes of many qb's (daunte, cunningham, brady, etc)
Moss did miss 3 games. In those three games he missed, Culpepper and the Vikes O did have 7 TD's, a single pick, and passed over 270 yards every time. His top receivers in those games were Marcus Robinson, Nate Burleson, and his TE was Jermaine Wiggins. Thought that was clearly his finest season. If Peyton hadn't been so great that year, he might have been MVP. Kind of a shame the injury derailed his career.

He's awesome. How many people would build something as amazing as that stadium? Who would have the balls to fire one of the legendary coaches in NFL history?

He's not even a terrible GM. He just picks coaches poorly and has never found that true elite QB

Why would he get credit for firing a great coach? Also you say he isnt a terrible GM but what have the Cowboys won since Jimmy wasnt there to pick the players?

In equal situations, Palmer could've done as well as Eli.

First hotel, supposedly one of the nicest ones in the city, greeted me with a giant cockroach in what was otherwise a decent enough room.

I got the fuck out of there and went to a shitty old hotel that had vacancy. It's been so long since I've seen a CRT TV!

Peoria!

You know what sucks? Hangover 2. Man what an awful movie.

The first was shit so that's not terribly surprising.

New internet rule. When you shit on something you have to also offer something in the same genre that you like.

We should make this a rule when you criticize everything. From players, teams, actors, games, whatever.

For the record I liked the Hangover 1 and never saw the 2nd one. The first hangover is not something you could see over and over again like Ace Ventura (classic!), but it was fun (at least for me) when me and my wife saw it in theaters.

What genre specifically would you like examples? The drunken idiot movie genre or comedy in general?

Some recent films I enjoyed in the genre that I suppose you could consider similar: Bridesmaids (I'll likely get shit for this one but fuck it, I thought it was funny), Horrible Bosses, and Hall Pass.

Particularly the last couple months.
Or at least after the draft.
On the other hand, training camp is almost here!
Pretty excited for that.

It's been particularly bad for the Ravens, with the Suggs injury, Rice's contract, Ed Reed being a dick, and the fact they are actually considering extending Flacco's contract.

We're still better than Pittsburgh.

Just comedy in general I suppose.

I heard good things about Bridesmaids.

Yeah Suggs really shit the bed with that injury. The ravens season might be flushed down the toilet now

I didn't like Bridesmaids, people said it was really funny so I went to see it, but I didn't think it was all that funny.

Has anyone on the Ravens done shit against us in the past few seasons other than Suggs? He was the only guy I remember giving us problems.

I think more Flacco and less Suggs is an excellent recipe for the Steelers winning the division!

Thanks T-Sizzle! I used to hate you but you are going to be a big part of this season's success!

I just hope with everybody else in the division taking a bit of a step back, that the Bengals don't take a huge-ass leap back like they are prone to doing.

I watched every game last year... Bengals got a lot of lucky lucky breaks.

It wasn't that bad but I just was pissed off at the end.

Guy loses A FUCKING FINGER and is like:"meh ok." Not to mention the father should be pissed. His son may not be able to be a surgeon because of a couple of outsider douchebags.

It was pretty bad all around.

I wonder if our defense is going to fall apart again this year at the end of the season. We are a bunch of old moos.

But on the other side our offense should be really good this year. With some new linemen and dumping Hines the sky is the limit. I can't wait to see Ben and the OC get in a fist fight when Ben scrambles for 2 minutes and throws a crazy TD.

Haley seems like a crazy fuck and I can see him getting mad if people are not following his game plan exactly, regardless of the outcome. Should be interesting.

Animal House and Revenge of the Nerds.

I dunno, the modern ones aren't as funny to me.

Like AJ Green bailing out Andy Dalton on those throws 3 yards behind him.
