NFL Off-Season |OT3| Josh Freeman is fat and eats too much food. Fat. Fatty. Fatfat.

lolol You don't stand next to a got dang fire in the middle of a Texas summer. This crap the Northeast is going through right now? It's like that all the time here between May and October. Do you want to go outside this afternoon and cook food over an open flame?

But otherwise, yes, cooking your own steak is the preferred way to go. All through college and law school we'd have cookouts during college football Saturdays
I fire up the grill around 7 once it starts to cool off.

Only been to Texas twice and I do remember it being as hot as hell so that is a credible excuse. Houston in particular was nasty in the afternoon (I think we went in May).

Being a Steelers fan really undermines your credibility.
You are probably right. All that success has probably gone to our head a little bit and the fairweathers have also probably taken away some of our credibility. But unlike Seahawk fans we at least had some credibility to lose.

It's true. Who can doubt the face of Dr. Foreman?

Yeah, Scooby Doo is terrible. no rhyme or reason to anything.
I haven't watched it in many, many, many years, but I liked it as a kid. Then again you like all sorts of garbage as kids so that doesn't really mean anything. God tv was fucking horrible in the early 80s. I think we had less than 50 channels back then and I actually used to get up early to watch shitfests like those Hanna Barbara games.

Unlike the bronies who infest this place I don't really watch cartoons anymore (though I do watch some Pixar movies so maybe that counts?). But I think my two favorite cartoons would be Transformers the Movie (holy shit, this was so fucking awesome as a kid) and Spirited Away (I do like those Ghibli movies).

Scooby Doo was my favorite. I'm sure if I went back and watched it it wouldn't be the same but I have fond memories. I was completely engrossed in it and loved everything about it.

When I was 8 or 9 I got Scooby Doo wallpaper and was convinced I'd want to keep it forever. I made some kind of bet with my brother. I kept it longer than I should have, but I eventually caved in.

Ricky Gervais show is a good cartoon
When my nephew was younger the one show he watched that I liked was Spongebob. Never watched it on my own, but it was pretty funny for a kids show. I hope something like that is on when my kids get older.

I think there are only two types of cartoons that are socially unacceptable (to me). I reject bronies in all of their forms and I am also creeped out by anime porn.

I'll put Transformers, Thundercats, GI Joe, and even He-Man up against anything that's out now. Plus, I think it's illegal to show Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry on TV anymore

My two boys love Scooby Doo. Kind of came out of nowhere but they love it. Didnt take too much searching to fid some DVD'sn and actual episodes on TV.

Squicken: there is some good cartoons on now a days: Transformers Prime & Avengers: Earths Mightest Heros come to mind. My youngest is all into Marvel:Superhero Squad.

They don't make shows like that anymore. Action movies and action everything is pretty much dead. When we were kids in the 80s every week they were releasing something involving guns, karate or ninjas.

The 80s are over. We lost.

Nice to know you draw such a hard line on social acceptibility in what you support.

I'll watch The Penguins of Madagascar with my nephews.

Duh. I like that the ProBowl got #31 and the NFL is going to off it, while MLB would kill for that rating. Wait, not even World Series games on the list? That can't be right, can it?

If you disregard fanart and Hentai, those are the the least visually appealing drawings that were ever put in motion.

I'm pretty sure the only way you can enjoy 80s/90s American TV cartoons is if you were a boy between 5-10 at that time and now put one the most rose tinted glasses ever made.

I do miss violence. Even supposedly violent movies suck. Last truly good one was Rambo 4

Looks like a mistake, you're right. According to Wiki, the World Series 2011 drew a viewership of 11-25 million. Not bad.

This is about as bad as eznark's lion-alligator fantasy.

Stuff like this is an affront to eyes trained by franco-belgian style. (Yay for elitism!)
It's like the artists actively hated aesthetics.

My sons and nephews watch my Transformers G1 collection all the time and love it.

Ponies are certainly worse than sex offenders, I know.
Good point. What is worse GAF. Cheering for a known doucher as qb on the field (only on the field) or being a brony and possibly anime porn guy?

I think it is the latter. When you cheer for a team it is implied that you are going to have to cheer for some douchebags, drug addicts and black people (this is the tough one for Pats and Packer fans to accept) along the way. I still think that is better than a grown man being a brony. Keep in mind I grew up in the 80s so shit like that and GEM were for gurls only.

Oh I really don't know much about modern stuff. No kids. My nephews watch lame PBS stuff about learning acceptance and understanding. I try to tell my cousin that stuff goes out the window once the kids hit the recess yard but she won't listen

While it is true that you can't always get high marks for character on your team, that isn't really the same as spending years hailing such a person as the messiah, you know.

After doing a little bit of reading my feeling is this: if Heckert is fine giving up a 2nd rounder for Gordon then so am I. Unless Holmgren panics and tells him to, he just doesn't like to give away picks.

More than likely we were going to spend a first or second rounder next year on a WR anyway. If you like the guy, and I'm guessing they did after inviting him to visit, then go get him.

From what I can see most of the Browns fans like the move and don't really care that fans of the other 31 teams say they overreached. I still think it's a reach but if Heckert is ok with it then so am I.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets along with Little.

Every time I see someone questioning why the Texans haven't extended him I wish this gif was used as a rebuttal. They've done a poor job imo of not finding a stronger armed replacement and developing him. Yates is a noodle arm too

Knocking Schaub for his health reasons shows how uninformed a person is. Guy has been healthy both seasons before last year and last years injury was a fluke. Fatass Haynesworth thought his foot was a damn Gordita and dove into the pile. Let Haynesworth fall on your foot and see what happens.

Missed you man. Browns-GAF has seen a slight explosion of posts over the last few weeks. Our numbers grow.
