NFL Off-Season |OT3| Josh Freeman is fat and eats too much food. Fat. Fatty. Fatfat.

Haven't seen many movies in theaters so I might have to go with StarWars episode 1 lol i know I know........
Might of been my first theater experience

Best movie experience was Harry Potter 1. I was 18, with friends, and way too high to be around all those kids and moms. I remember yelling "She's gonna be hot" when Hermione came on the screen.

It may have been creepy then, but I was right.

Lmao you were very right, and damn i think i was in like the 3rd grade when that came out

Panthers trade for Raiders' alligator arms Louis Murphy. He was always a solid WR, until he took a mean hit and became a little girl on the field whenever a safety looks at him.

da fuck? I don't care if he has alligator arms. He can get deep and Chud likes to chuck it. Need to see compensation but probably not much. Raiders never lack for speed guys who can't run routes

Wildcard berths that can't beat teams without a winning record should have homefield advantage
Not sure if this was posted but the Lions released Aaron Berry after second arrest:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...se-aaron-berry-after-second-offseason-arrest/

Good for Mayhew and the front office staff.

Also,
mike freeman ‏ @ realfreemancbs

One Lions player told me just now: "This s--- has to stop. We're becoming the laughing stock of not only the NFL but all of sports."

Before last year, we WERE The laughing stock of all sports.

He was the savior Tim Tebow's favorite target at Florida. He's definitely got a lot of speed, he's just scared of contact so all he's good for is running fade or comeback. Post, digs, slants, that crosses him up with a LB or safety and he just lets the ball sail.

We talking about fun movie experiences?

I saw the American remake of that spanish movie [Rec] in downtown Minneapolis on a Saturday night when that came out. That was the funniest shit ever.

"OH DAMN DONT GO IN THERE YOU GONNA GIT BIT"

Everyone was into it.

Just heard about Berry being cut. Good. This off season has not just been disappointing in terms of some of the organization's personnel moves/draft, but has also been completely embarrassing as a Lions fan.

Hopefully this sends the message this team clearly needs. Our secondary is already suspect, and this makes it worse. But I support this 100%

He was definitely the worst WR on the roster last year, except for maybe Houshmandzadeh. I won't miss him, I was hoping DHB would drop out of the top 3 WR but then he just had to have an okay year so now I'm stuck with watching him.

Vikings will beat the lions both times this year.

Hell it should have happened last year but we choked and let them come back 20 points and we got screwed on a face mask non call on Mr. Webb.

DHB will have the most catches/yards this year for the Raiders. The guy has progressively gotten better each season. Other than his DUI, he's an ideal player/worker. His work ethic is what makes him great unlike that bum across the Bay I originally wanted. Moore is gonna be the big play guy because he's just so damn natural at it.

DHB is one big ass WR, 6'2 215lbs with 4.3 speed. WCO actually might be a better fit for him if he runs his routes better and learns to use his hands. Most of his success has been underneath routes and YAC.

I think I might still be on the Freeman bus for fantasy. He could easily have a bounce back year, has better weapons at WR this year, and lost like 70 pounds.

Yup, Freeman targeted round 12

Best theater experience was probably 300 for me. Not the greatest movie, but the atmosphere was just amazing. I tried to go to an 8PM showing on opening day, but was told it was sold out which surprised me. I wound up going to the 9PM show that day and it was completely packed. Lots of cheering, laughing, etc - just an awesome crowd. Afterward I jumped in my car, turned it on, and Rainbow In The Dark had just come on. I rocked all the way home.

Worse theater experience: taking my little brothers and their retarded friend to see Ang Lee's Hulk. Their friend kept yelling out "WHERE'S HULK? IS THIS THE HULK MOVIE?" and I'd be like "Nicholas, be quiet, he'll be on the screen soon enough..."

then of course, it takes forever for Hulk to actually appear in the movie. So Nicholas whispers as loud as possible "I have to go pee, tell me when Hulk comes on the screen." Considering he did not own a cell phone, I'm guessing he expected someone to run into the bathroom and inform him that yes, Hulk was on the screen.

Yeah, no.

Feeding 12 kids aint cheap ya know!

Oh, it's even more spectacular than that. Henry just finished serving 3 years in the pen! Not even sure he's reinstated given he took a year ban for the drugs he was doing prior to the prison term.

Would be interesting if this was just a lawyer-advised litigation tactic to drop his support payments.

Yeah you're right, he did get a lot better. Maybe I'm just bitter over the previous years. I really think Denarius Moore is going to be really good though. I think Ford could be amazing too. Then again, all of this kind of rides on the need for a QB that doesn't throw 6 interceptions in two games.

Palmer is a risk taker, always will be, he was put in some shitty situations last year. A defense that gave up every lead he and the offense built and a lack of a running game. McFadden is gonna still be the key to everything. Bush for as good as RB he is a one trick pony, the guy had no speed to get outside the tackles so all you had to do was clog the middle and he had nowhere to go. He also ran small as hell for a back his size, preferring to dance around defenders rather than through. McFadden is the opposite, that fucker ran hard as fuck, ask Eric Weddle or Jon McGraw who were on their backs whenever they tried to tackle RunDMC.

Yeah, I read that DMC was really bad at zone blocking when they tried it before, but he says he's matured a lot more since then so he'll be able to do it just fine. We'll see about that!

Last year Bush started out well but once people figured out we'd still run even after McFadden was injured they started stopping him easily. I don't know if it was just McFadden is really good or Bush is just not that great. I love watching McFadden run, I really thought last year was going to be alright but then we lost McFadden, and then I started to hate Hue after he kept saying McFadden would be back any week.

WCO with zone blocking, same shit that the Texans do. Doesn't suit Palmer at all, but if Greg Knapp is smart at all he'll build the offense to Palmer's strengths. Palmer hasn't ran the WCO since his days at USC in which he was pretty beast. Too bad he doesn't have any knees anymore thanks to the cheaters at the Steelers.

Yeah I don't think having an offense with a lot of QBs rolls is the way to go with him.

edit: Schaub moves better than Carson. He's almost Bledsoe at this point

Palmer can move better than Bledsoe, he's not a standing statue like him. He can extend plays with his feet, how much, not much but its still better than Bledsoe. Again with DMC defenses have to account for a lot more. WCO compliments RBs like DMC who have WR abilities. DMC and our FB Marcel Reece are match up nightmares for LBs if they go out for routes. Read an article the other day that DMC leads all backs in yards per reception.

“I’m OK with that,” Reid said, via the Philadelphia Daily News. “I know the player. I know this player. I know he loves challenges, is as competitive as anybody you’ve ever been around. He wants to win and he’s willing to do whatever it takes physically and mentally to do that.”
re: Reid on Vick's "dynasty" statement.

Oh, and Eli with the Toomer stuff.

Manning said on WFAN’s Boomer and Carton show that he joked with Toomer by telling him that Ike Hilliard, who played wide receiver alongside Toomer during Manning’s rookie season, was better than Toomer.

“You’ve got to laugh about it,” Manning said, via the Star Ledger. “I saw Toomer not too long ago. I just walked up to him and said, ‘You know what, I thought Ike Hilliard [was] a better Giants receiver than you were. Willie Ponder was probably a better receiver than you were.’ . . . You’ve got to laugh about it instead of getting upset. There’s no point. Amani’s been a good pal of mine and still is, so you’ve got to laugh about it.”
Why not Tim Carter?

I was really hoping they'd use Marcel Reece a lot more than they did last year. He made some really good plays last year and most of the time it didn't seem like the defense didn't know how to handle him at all
