You don't need to wait that long. Game 2 is usually when their season is over and they start weighing their options which are waiting for the draft and another season or suicide.

Book 4 was so painful and awful I waited on reviews for the fifth book.

My favorite game of all time. Try speedruns by yourself without a FAQ or YT and you will really see its genius.
