The optimist in me says the Panthers make it back to .500 at 8-8.

Can't argue with 9 wins for the Giants. It's what they've done for two seasons. 9-11 wins is the ceiling.
NFCS is tough. Hard to know how Payton will affect Saints. You know someone will be bad but it's hard to know who out of TB and CAR. For me I just like Schiano more than Rivera so I would think the Panthers would be the ones to stuggle

Yeah boring line. It's always easier to pick who will be bad vs who will be good. except for that Colts line. I know everyone thinks they are a classic regression team, but that's getting lost in the stats imo

That's my thinking as well.
The Falcons will be very good (and sometimes even exceptional when they want to be), the Saints have no choice but to be better, and I think Tampa's improved in key areas. Ultimately, Fat-Man will be the limiting factor as to how good the Bucs will be though, he plays well and they could be a dark horse wild card team.
I don't think the Panthers have necessarily regressed, but I don't think they've improved enough to match up with the rest of the division improving. And playing the NFC West (SF and SEA are pretty much automatic L's, the Rams have improved) and the Pats out of the division won't help.

I love how no one here thinks we improved, I can't wait for the season! I just hope this D Wash drama works out, losing him would be a big blow to the D but at least Dansby is a decent replacement for the games he'll miss.
You need to draft a top quality qb and stop with the stop gaps. And get a fucking GM and not a cap man.
