I'm more interested to see how our defense handles the high powered Saints offense, although after the 1st quarter I really couldn't care. I'm gonna have to stream it while I'm at work I think.

I know that feeling. Work forced me to record or stream a dozen games at least the last couple of years. This time around I should be able to watch most of them, with exception of prime-time events during my on-week. Im pretty excited for the season, Goodell be damned.

It shouldn't be much of a surprise. Tebow has never been a good practice player. He's the definition of a gamer, and practice doesn't allow much in terms of ad-lib. It's ingrained in him. I recently heard that he is taking off and running in 7 vs 7. Doesn't seem significant, besides the fact that he is not likely to see pressure in 7 vs 7, and is basically designed to let the QB throw against a secondary.
That has to be tough on Reid, I can't imagine losing a kid. It never seems natural when kids go before their parents.

I know Giants fans have asked about him so an update on Steve Smith:
They have moved him outside. Amendola is entrenched as the starter in the slot. Right now he is playing with the first team, but the two rookies are both outside guys and would hopefully supplant him. The thing is reports are that he is playing well and looks as fast as he ever was. But they just have so many slot guys, and I'm not sure Smith can play special teams. He'll make the team as long as he can demonstrate an ability to be at least a backup outside WR
