I hate Chris Palmer and his play calling...3rd and 6 down 31-7 and we run the ball for 4 yards and have to punt >_<

Just got back from the Steelers game.

Duce - The Eagles couldn't contain the run whatsoever. The whole second half consisted of us breaking off 4-6 yards a carry, burying you guys. I was pretty worried when I heard that Staley was a scratch, like I said earlier, but once I saw the push that our o-line was getting, I knew Bettis and Veron were going to have a big game.

I don't even know what to say....over 200 yards rushing...We punked the Eagles today. It was just smashmouth football.

T.O. got his catches, just like I said he would. However, you wanna talk about being contained? T.O. has completely harmless today. Everytime he would get a catch Polamalu would really stick him. I counted 3 or 4 really good shots on T.O. by Polamalu.

And once again, T.O.P. was out of control, just like last week.

Ill repost this for you. Your running game is no better than any other team we faced average wise, it was something like 4.5 yards per carry, down from our season average. The difference is we didnt play as well in other areas.

This hurt us more than the run game. When the eagles shut teams down its because they make plays on 3rd. Its as simple as that.

Well, offensively we are a ways away yet. However, I've been telling peeps, this defense is starting to come around. The scary thing is our defense is starting to play exceptionally well, and we don't even have our pro bowl corner or pro bowl safety playing right now! Plus our pro bowl middle linebacker and pro bolw lineman are playing hurt. Tommy Harris, Alex Brown, OGUN, our line is coming around. We are starting to dominate the point of contact. Right now we are getting just enough offensive production to win! I don't know how the rest of this season is going to go, but the Bears team is really starting to play -at least defensively- in the image Love Smith wants. Hitting hard, stopping drives, and getting turnovers. This defense is so young too we keep the core together this D is gonna be one to be reckoned with for years to come.

1/2 and 1/2 day for me. Bucs which makes me warm on the inside, but seeing Pennington get owned by the wind and the Bills makes me cry on the inside.

Give it up, dude, the Bears have been overrated, Brian Hacklacker is overrated. And you shouldn't have a nickname when you have one good game out of 5.

Wow, Steelers are even better then I thought they might be. And that is saying something.

Total clinic on the Pats and Eagles in successive weeks. No doubt who the number one team is right now. :D

And Duce, you need to lay off on the crack dude. You make it sound like the Eagles were in the game. They lost at every single facet of the game. They were totally dominated and if the Steelers had wanted to they could have put up another 21 points easily, they just shut their offense down in the second half when it was obvious that the Eagles were not going to do anything on offense.

If giving up 250 yards and letting the other team have the ball for 40 minutes is "average" for the Eagles, then they don't even deserve to be considered as an elite team.

Face it, the Steelers at this point of the season are clearly the best team in football and dominated the Eagles in every aspect of the game. The score could have been a lot more lopsided if the Steelers didn't shut their offense down in the 2nd half. They pretty much stopped throwing anything past 5 yards midway after the half.

And don't act like this was just some bad game by the Eagles, a rookie QB clearly outplay McNabb and the Steelers made Owen look ordinary. No one else has been able to do that this year. Steelers are the best and the most balanced team in football. The only other team that comes close is New England, and I like our chances against them if we see them in the playoffs. :D

I agree 100%. The eagles totally played up to their potential and the steelers still dominated. Hell they didnt even have to play in the 2nd half and they still would have won. End the season now and hand them the superbowl trophy. Is that what you want to hear?
