The Flames look like a bunch of disinterested emo idiots right now.. Their heads are just not in the game. I honestly think they are all sick and tired of Sutter and his style. FUCK

Edit: So Jovanoski got a hat trick in Phoenix to beat the Preds, there were probably like, 2 hats on the ice for that one.

Last two seasons a win against the Bolts didn't mean too much, but since they're actually a decent team this time, then this win makes me more than happy.

Also Crosby dropping the fuck out of Niskanen. Monster.

Torres gets a hat trick in Edmonton and there were more hats on the ice than people at the Coyotes game.

So I waited for November, and the Sabres are still God-awful. The team has no excuses for playing as bad as they are. The core guys are they same, and you have Ryan Miller in net. 0-5-1 at home. Pathetic.
 
I kind of feel bad for Leafs fans. You guys got this false sense of having a good team thanks to Clarke Mcarthur, but now the team has come back to reality and proven their shittiness.

Oh well, at least we'll get a top3 pick
 
Kind of had a feeling the Bolts would lose last night. Very interested to see how they fair against LA and San Jose, should be a good early season test.

We're going to be very streaky this year. And we'll go how Kessel goes as he's our only real scorer on the team. When he's hot we're going to win games, when he goes into any type of slump we're going to suffer like we are right now.

The season isn't over by any stretch of the imagination. Sure we're bad now but we'll go through more winning streaks as the season goes on. The quick start only helped to keep us out of last place now with this slump.
 
Eller is practicing on the Pleks-Cammy line today, and Kost is practicing on the Gomez-Gionta line, so it looks like those weren't just changes made at the end of last game, but rather semi-permanent changes by Martin.

The captain has been getting so many chances, I cant wait until they start going in for him. That second line is so fucking beast.

I want Schneider to do well tonight because:

-I want him to contribute to the Canucks' success and win as many of his starts as possible.
-I want him to be the most attractive trade bait possible come Summer 2011.

But I'm not worried about Luongo. I was at the tail end of last season after the Olympics. Right now, save a couple mediocre performances, he seems to be very strong in net. He'll deserve his ~60 starts over the course of the season, I'm pretty sure.

I've randomly heard people say that Schneider should get the #1 position (or people say that they've heard other people say as much, and that therefore it must be true), but it's fucking stupid. He's played two games. That's nothing.
 
He is seriously 1000000X better this year then he was in the playoffs, and he was great then. Fucking going to be the Conn Smythe winner this year. Book it.
 
Other people seriously need to start posting in this thread. Anyways nice to see the Big Z score again. I am so happy we got him over Gagne this year.

That would be awesome. It took a Rangers goal to wake them up tonight, but they have been flying ever since. I feel for the other teams in the East, already knowing that at best they are fighting for second best record in the conference. :)
