lol they're interviewing Evander Kane on Sabres intermission, first question is about how nice he's dressed.
it became this huge deal with the Toronto media because Staal wound up a shot on an empty net with Phaneuf directly in front, and apparently the Leafs showed their lack of character for not roughing him up afterward
Phaneuf was in front of an empty net. Eric Staal took a slapshot up close and gave Phaneuf a dirty look afterwards.
Staal said later he wanted to either hit Phaneuf or the net with the puck, i think.
Whatever.

All the teams in my division up in Brampton take on all the beginner teams in Toronto over one weekend tournament in April.
