So it was revealed today that tomorrows outdoor game will only be the second out of 17 outdoor NHL games that won't be a sellout.

Why? Because apparently the NHL had an allotment of over 4000 tickets to sell that they just dumped on the Wild a few days ago. Wild and Hawks both get an allotment of tickets to sell, they both sold through. NHL was supposed to sell off theirs but then just decided to return them last minute.

Conspiracy theories are that the NHL did this on purpose to use later as proof that a future Winter Classic won't work in Minnesota.

Not sure what to think but either way the way the NHL kind of screwed the team over here is a bit disheartening. No matter how good the market is, 4000 tickets to sell last minute to an event like this is going to be tough.
