Shatnerkirk was the only real loss. At least, that would be true if David Jones were playing like he's played in previous seasons. He could've easily taken over Stewart's role.

Old man Lou is senile. He hasn't been able to properly run a team since the lockout. He's also stubborn. He'll lose him for nothing. I'll laugh.
Edit: Also playoffs. Devils won't make the playoffs without Parise. They need the playoff revenue. Even though it still won't make much of a difference. They aren't a team that's built for post-season success. I'd be surprised if they played more than 2 home game in the playoffs, if at all.
