And I also added that it was definitely on the light/gray side of things, but to act like the refs aren't responding to an actual interference or a rule is silly.

By that logic, you could argue for giving a player 5 minutes and a game for spearing because his stick brushed a guy he was skating past. The fact that it was on the light / gray side of things is 100% reason enough to say it was a bad call, you can't just stretch the rule like that and say it's valid. Anyway, very pissed off at the results right now, that call and more importantly, Fleury's incredible goaltending / our inability to capitalize were the reasons the Leafs lost tonight when we seemed to have it in the bag.
