Because he's right?
Oh man, Xbox fans with persecution complexes now are hilarious.

It'll be Apple fans next I swear.
Because he's right?
I know you're a Sony fan, but even you can admit that the backlash has been absurd at times. People should be allowed to say they're going to buy an XBone without throngs of militant detractors shaming them mercilessly. That and the silly persecution complex. MS dug their own hole and is being shit on in nearly every corner of the net. Not a GAF only thing.
OT is a shitshow too. Any thread involving women, sexism, etc is also embarrassing. Gaf takes itself entirely too seriously.
Post selectively and approach with caution. Community threads are a nice bubble.
This. The only score I've ever kept while playing golf was counting how much I've had to drink. If it's not for charity then it's a sport you can play while drinking A LOT while just fucking around and not really caring about playing.
Coast Guard? Are the mods allowed to have biases?
Who mods the mods!!
For life's hardest hitting questions, such as what should be considered sexist in media, we turn to a video game forum populated by lonely men who have never experienced a normal relationship with a woman.

There are actually a lot of game designers/artist who post on gaming side, so there's a decent chance you'll get some insight as to how one can design a character without being offensive. sort of like how there's people who post in/read this thread who actually play hockey rather than just watch it.
I feel like video game designers are, on average, much less qualified to answer that question compared to virtually any other group of people. There are actually a lot of game designers/artist who post on gaming side, so there's a decent chance you'll get some insight as to how one can design a character without being offensive. sort of like how there's people who post in/read this thread who actually play hockey rather than just watch it.

It's a conversation worth having here, though, for sure. But so many of the responses are just garbage.

Whenever I see those types of thread I wonder why the OP actually cares. That is one of those threads.
So today I decided I'm going to be a Marriage Celebrant.
Yup.
The fun part is that he's right and still got banned :lol Or did he have other, more ban-worthy comments?
Nice. Is there some sort of online course to do that quickly, or are you actually attending some sort of training seminar.
Wouldn't mind having that kind of license. :lol
3 day course in August, 1.5k.
Then you apply to the government to be recognised as one.
Imagine all the power. I would marry animals, just because I could.
(But you can't really because you have to abide by strict laws etc).
Oh is THAT what the Baby Wing business was about before. Grats Crazed. You really can't complain about the results of your organisation from this season
No seriously, good luck trying in future.
We'll be here... Waiting to remind you.
Yep.
On release day is the only time worth caring about them. Then everything you evaluate is FACT and nothing else: Titles, features, system specs, price etc. It's all there and it's all concrete.
If you wanna keep up with big news? Sure, that's OK. Gives you something to look forward to.
But when it comes to rumours, in depth analysis. leaked news, bits and bites and then ARGUING over these details? Fuck that. Better things to do with ones time and energy.
Tim Panaccio says that the Ducks are trying to move Ryan and are contacting interested teams.
He's a grey cat. I was clearly talking to a black one. But I'm sure they all look the same to you.
Get on the fucking phone, Bergevin.
If we end up with Jones I would not be opposed for a Kulikov-Ryan trade.Tim Panaccio says that the Ducks are trying to move Ryan and are contacting interested teams. I dont think Coburn is that good so I wouldnt be to broken up over losing him, the 11th pick is way to late to get an impact player so it doesnt seem like to much to give up. Hopefully the Flyers can get it done soon. Add Streit and Ryan, lose Bryz, Danny, and Coburn, not a bad start to the offseason. They will ahve to get another defenseman though, hopefully they can find a FA who can fill in minutes for them.
Yes and no. There is a lot of rage toward the Xbone and a lot of it is 360 owners who are alienated or offended by their policy shift. Pair that with them complicating their policy so we need hundreds of pages to figure something out it is a cause of major frustration. Look at the counter arguments for Xbone policies what things are there justifying it? Nearly every has the the phrase "the DRM policy doesn't effect me." It is nearly a parody at this point that their policies are so indefensible that supporters can't qualify it but ignore it. There is excess. If someone wants the Xbone then cool, your money. I think most of the attacks for supporters comes from the atro-turfer witch hunt. Many were found out and Bish purged them, but the damage to perception was done.I know you're a Sony fan, but even you can admit that the backlash has been absurd at times. People should be allowed to say they're going to buy an XBone without throngs of militant detractors shaming them mercilessly.
Note: I am not buying an XBone
In similar fashion, in recent years, there has been an annual round of rumors tying the Flyers to a potential trade for Anaheim Ducks winger Bobby Ryan. There is little doubt there are at least some decision-makers around the team who still covet the Cherry Hill native.
My own feelings on Ryan haven't changed from last year. Despite a bit of a down year this past season, he remains a fine offensive winger who can be relied on for 30-plus goals in a full season. But he has limitations. The reality of Ryan's overall game is that he's similar player to another former second overall draft pick, ex-Flyer James van Riemsdyk (who, in his fourth NHL season, outproduced sixth-season NHLer Ryan this year in both goals and points). If you didn't like JVR when you watched him on an every-game basis, you probably won't like Ryan much better.
Both players tend to be streaky in their production. Both are no better than ordinary as a defensive players. Lastly, for players of their size, their physical games can be spotty. But when they're on, they can score in bunches.
I would certainly have no objection to seeing the Flyers add Ryan. But I don't personally covet him enough to see the Flyers put together a multi-piece package, including the 11th overall pick of the 2013 Draft, to acquire him.
As least the way I see it, the team has bigger holes than lacking a winger such as Bobby Ryan. Those needs starts with a long-term mission to rebuild the top end of the blueline (signing Mark Streit adds an offensive specialist, not a top-pairing anchor) . In my opinion, the organization is better off right now stockpiling assets and building system depth at all level, not depleting from it for quick fixes.

Making a thread where you call the forum juvenile and compare it to Gamefaqs is probably going to get you banned every single time.
I have The Dictator queued up on Netflix. Do you guy recommend it?
Careful.

decided to buy this based on your post. thanks. The Swapper is maybe the most surprisingly good game I've played in forever. It's Braid minus the annoying Blow-ness, amazing art and audio (haunting in every way) and absurdly good puzzles. After an hour I had to force myself to stop.
It's basically 'The Prestige: The Game' in a lot of ways, with a healthy dose of Braid's puzzles and oodles of style.
The first time I created a clone in mid-air as a stepping stone to a far off platform without a thought, only to watch his space suited corpse crumple at the bottom of the shaft with a sickening thud, his/my busted suit hissing oxygen... good stuff.
Do not support mediocre rebranding.
Or I could... because I like it and don't listen to whiners. It's not going to change.. just get over it.

Sure, at least anyone over the age of 30 who is passionate about hockey doesn't know what a "waifu" is.
Honest question: It obviously sounds like "wife" but is that what it is?
Also, saw a link about the Avs giving up their first for Bobby. I'll try to find it. Currently on my phone.
TSN thinks the Aves will be picking a forward, not Jones. Sorry Dubbed.

Tallon has sounded pretty interested in Barkov. With Weiss likely out I hope he has a C in mind. Though Couts with Hubby on a line does sound very nice.I wonder if the Panthers would be willing to trade back to 11 if Mac goes 1st? I think the Avs are making a huge mistake if they dont take Jones.
