We don't really have any alternatives. He may struggle but so will the entire team.

RNH and Yak needed more development time for different reasons.

Sounds like Yzerman couldn't get anything for Purcell and just wanted to get out from under the contract. Gagner would cost less to buy out. Works either way I guess.
